Information reaching us is that NYSC EDO STATE Has been under lock and key for non remittance of tax. Internal Revenue said NYSC is expected to pay withholding tax I want professionals in tax at Nairaland to explain if it's true that a government body at the state that doesn't award contract is supposed to pay withholding tax. Moreover I am not happy with the suffering relocated in Corps members to Edo state are going through. Pls help beg Comrade Governor to open NYSC office in edo state, and allow Corps members that are giving thier services for free in edo settle down on time because the suffering is becoming unbearable. Edo state does not pay anything to Corps members, it's free service
