Bros calm down, you will get your visa this year. Just escalate it a bit through email. Sometimes the status would have changed and you are not notified.

Trust me,been there,done that.When you call Hgs,they take your money and don't really help.If your application has no issues,you probably don't need them,if there are issues,they ll just keep escalating your case until you are frustrated or broke.
Simply put,there is really not much you can do until they are done.
Today is day 22(working days) for me and I also paid for priority.

Just calm down bro, I strongly believe all things are working for our good.

Well,it looks like priority applications are not really being dealt with as priority these days.I submitted in Ikeja and TLS claimed it was received by UKVI on 22nd November(priority).
Got an email yesterday from Sheffield thinking it was finally a decision email after 20 agonising working days despite paying for priority,but the mail read "application received in Sheffield and is being considered bla bla.
Yes you read that right "received".
Bottomline;they are pretty messed up right now.I guess you ll just have to wait.

I will give them another 24 hours, afterwards they will hear from me.

Just wondering why it's taking long to get decision and the process started quite fast initially (Priority). I submitted on Thursday and my application was transferred to UK same day, then I received email that my application is now being prepared for considered by an ECO on Friday morning. Is it wise for me to ask for the status of my application via email or I should give them more time?

Outside Nigeria it's meaningless, but inside Nigeria you NEED it. Unless you want to work with foreign firms let me explain.
1. If you did your secondary education in Turkish secondary school, most Turkish firms in Nigeria would employ you without a second thought and not even ask of NYSC.
2. A friend of mine was in a similar dilemma, immediately after graduation,he made a first class, Cambridge came calling for MSC, he left without NYSC, after MSC top of his class he landed a job with UN was running his PhD in Europe. 2015 Buhari/Osibanjo won the elections. One of them happened to be close to his supervisors in his undergraduate program, he was recommended for appointment.During documentation NYSC crept up to hunt him, of cause he was quickly mobilized and deployed to serve in the office he was appointed to.
Crux of my story. If you have the time come and serve, there are ways you can fix it up. But don't let what you can do now, deprive you of something in the future.

Just thinking this morning about this: I absconded from NYSC to go for my masters and upon completion I got another offer for my PhD in UK. Do I need to briefly discuss this during my interview? Am just thinking if there is any tie between the ECO and NYSC.

Is there anyone that needs naira? I need to make my online payment.

1. Please advice on how to print my official financial sponsor's letter, should I print in colored or black and white?

2. Also, the Issuing authority of my passport in my application couldn't accommodate Federal Republic of Nigeria, do you advise I write just Nigeria?

3. What is your advice on how to answer interview questions on accommodation cos I have not made any arrangement on that at present.

5. My first traveling was to Tanzania which was without visa, then I got a 3 months tourist visa on arrival and later extend it to residence C permit for one year. Also, the tourist stamp (3 months) is not appearing on my passport anymore cos the one year residence C permit stamp was placed on it. Now in filling my application form, 'have you traveled to any commonwealth country?', I answered YES, of which I couldn't fill the tourist visa information cos it was not appearing at all, so I put the information of one year residence permit. But it contradicts the information on another question which says 'have you traveled out of your country before?' because the dates were quite different. PLEASE IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE POINT AM MAKING HERE, I CAN EXPLAIN BETTER.

I can not even find the option for priority online, how do I make the priority payment?

I just read from a site that student submitting application less than 6 weeks to the course start date should use priority service. My course starts by 1st of January, and I am about to make online payment but I can't afford priority service. Please advice, should I make the normal payment?

1. shouldn't matter but you can just make a note of it in the application form.

2. There's no need for passports anymore. They will take a picture of you at the submission center

Do you mean I should write it in the additional information section of the online application form?

Hello guys, I think am almost set to make my VISA application but I have two questions.

1. I discovered that there is a slight error in my UK address shown on my TB certificate. Do you think it matters?

2. I have not got an experienced photographer to help with the passport photo, can I do it at the Ikeja UKVI office on my appointment day?

I have obtained my CAS for the session resuming in January. I wanted to book my application online but was informed that once I book my application I have 4 Hours to pay else same will be cancelled.

I want to find out the visa fee for tier 4 and the Immigration health charge in USD OR GBP.

I also want to find out the additional fee for booking the interview at Ikeja.

IHS is 851 USD for 4 and 1/2 years, and application fee is 420USD for normal, I don't know much about the additional fee but you can budget about 20USD.

Do you mean I should write 4 years, even if my financial sponsorship is for 3 years?

Hi guys, when filling the visa application form, what should I write for the duration of course? My concern is that my PhD is 3 years and financially sponsored for 3 years as stated in the letter, but the CAS has 4 years on it. How many years do you advice that I write? Also, I saw somewhere that I could just write 'the length of my course'. What do you think?

Hi guys, please help me with this, I read that the official financial sponsor letter was supposed to be stamped, how do they stamp such letter since they are sending it to me online? Who has got a similar experience before?
