For people who only see impossibilities in things. May you find healing.

Myself I was and I'm still super surprised to find that there are Nigerians teaching online and raking these figures. Imagine 15$ per hour × for 1000 classes, converted to naira.

But common, information is key and PRICELESS...

If you're a teacher who's interested, don't hesitate to reach out. Just make sure you've got a good command of English Language.

My WhatsApp number is the same one on my profile +2347076384406

They all have their own perks, but so far I've only worked with about 22 which I'll be niche(ing) down on in future posts... Stay tuned

In a world where everyone ; bloggers, amateurs, professionals, agents; both genuine, newbies and scammers post everywhere
"Get full funded scholarships, relocate to Canada, do this, sign up, no IELTs... Bla bla"

Truly, it'll begin to sound like a mantra and all fake stories, (which in reality are)

But don't get me wrong, listen and also hear the good part of the story.

Briefly going back to what we all know scholarships to be, (at least as a Nigerian)

--- Students need to get a verified link and apply
--- A connection with agents who know the road... the agents are the ones who can give legit information and have been through the process multiple times. They have the experience and are the guaranteed way to relocate out of Nigeria. But from that idea you, everything begins to look clumsy ...
--- Then maybe the exam you'll write to get the award self.

All of that can easily put one off and make it feel like giving up at some points.

Yeah. Enough stories. Now the simple truth and summary of everything.
(Thread)

How's CANADA different and WHY is it always the go-to option

1. As a Nigerian applicant to a most Universities in Canada, you don't have to write/submit English proficiency exams. (IELTS and the likes...)
All you need is pass a minimum of C6-C5 in your Waec result English language.

2. You don't have to write entrance exams GRE/GMAT/MAT. Your admission is based on your (WAEC, Neco grades or CGPA and transcripts)

3. For most fully funded scholarships, (Undergraduate) they're automatically given to you as entrance scholarships.
Meaning all you have to do is apply for admission to a particular school, depending on your academic results, you'll be automatically considered and awarded a full funded scholarship with your admission.

The admission and scholarship letter will come together without you having to struggle so much writing motivation letters to inumerable organizations for financial support. You don't need motivation letters! (Except in few case/schools)

Postgraduate ( MSc / PhD) : All graduates student in thesis based programmes in over 80% of the Canadian Institutions receive full funding with stipends from your academic supervisor. It's straightforward and boldly written on the school websites.

3. The process is so simple you can actually do it all in a week by yourself,
Although in reality, it's wise to have someone who is always there to tell you what to do, how and when to. Also, the process can be wearying and confusing, So your mentor or guide will be that motivator and assurer that you're on the right or wrong track and ginger you along
(For scholarships, if you kick too late, it lowers your chances).

2. Don't be deceived, this is the most important part of the whole process. If you don't have some little cash to invest, don't even bother too long. Go and raise some cash, you're gonna need 'em.

1. In a simple summary, hoping I have demystified the whole process to some extent, Canada scholarships are real and considerably the easiest, with little document requirements and no age restrictions. Basically you need these to get started:

BSc

- WAEC Result
- WAEC scratch card to confirm your results
- Fill the application form.

MSc/PhD

- Official university degree or 3-year diploma year wise transcripts/Certificates
- Resume/CV
- Statement/Intent letter or Research Proposals (Particularly PhD )
-Fill the application form

If interested and highly motivated, you can also join our community.

Your processes are totally risk free! Meaning, we evaluate your chances, before advising you to apply to a school.

Let's achieve dreams together and be part of your success story.

EducationRe: Apply for Funding - BSc/Msc WhatsApp Forum by temishelby(op):
Postgraduate: Choosing your Proposed Course of Study
The number one thing is for you to choose your proposed Course of Study and also decide on the Research you will like to pursue.

Knowing the title of the course and your proposed area of specialization is the first point of call. Then choosing a school is the next. Pick a school with low admission requirements,(no stress)

The next major thing is getting a supervisor.
Imagine thousands of applicants who dream of schooling in Canada on a free tuition basis.(You need a 100% commitment and determination if you want to follow the route of grant/scholarship)

GRE and TOEFL are not required in some Canadian universities but it is advisable to write TOEFL inorder to have lots of options.

Now the big question is: How can one secure a supervisor?

Pay a visit to your potential university website.
Most of us know: www.usask.ca.
Canada has few universities unlike United States of America just for the record.

From the University website proceed to the departmental website of your chosen course, e.g environmental science department then look for lecturers that are spearheading research works in your area of interest.
(there are various environmental science research, you just need to choose the one that interest you .It is always cool if have firsthand knowledge of the research especially if it's related to your BSc research work or your work experience).

There is usually a link on university websites that shows you where to get a University lecturer’s contacts i.e your potential supervisor for your graduate courses.

Ensure you go through his or her past and present research areas of interest. They always have one particular research focus unlike what is applicable in our dear country.

FAQ
How do I get an application?

Applications to all public Ontario universities are submitted through a common application centre, OUAC (Ontario University Application Centre).
All students submit one online application that will be forwarded to each specific Ontario university you select. A cheaper and easier alternative to applying directly to each school.

These services were developed to facilitate the process of applying to the Ontario universities. They reduce duplication in application processing, and save time and resources for applicants and the universities.

What does it cost?

The OUAC collects a base application fee [$150 as of 2020]. This fee entitles the applicant to select 3 different university/program combinations.
These may be programs at 3 separate universities, or 3 different degree programs at the same university, or any combination thereof.

Additional selections may be made at the cost of $50 per additional selection. It will be expensive, but in theory you can apply to dozens of schools/programs if you desire. The only overall restriction on your application is that you may apply to no more than three programs at any one university. Individual universities may have their own specific restrictions, which will be outlined on the OUAC website. It has also become common practice for individual universities to impose additional application fees over and above the OUAC fee. Not every school requires an additional fee, but those that do are currently charging fees in the $150 – $200 range.

The OUAC website provides a break-down of current application fees according to the type of program (Ontario Law Schools: OLSAS, Ontario Medical Schools: OMSAS, Ontario Rehabilitation Sciences Programs: ORPAS, Ontario Faculties of Education: TEAS), as well as the most recent transcript request fees listed by university.
