Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has refuted claims of financing the burial of Rufai Oseni's father, as alleged by Reno Omokri. 

This dispute arose shortly after Reno Omokri, the Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, made allegations suggesting that Obi was involved in funding the funeral of Rufai's father.

He wrote:

Famed Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has disclosed that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal is purportedly set to deliver its verdict on September 16.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Labour Party (LP) under the leadership of Julius Abure has emphasized that Senator Athan Achonu remains the legitimate candidate for the upcoming Imo State governorship election scheduled for November 11.

The Nasarawa State Governorship Election Tribunal, witnesses took the stand to provide their testimonies regarding alleged irregularities in the recent elections.

Chicago State University (CSU) has indicated that they are willing to release the academic records of President Bola Tinubu if a United States court grants the order.
