You see the problem with pdp is they live their life in social media. They would not have advertised all their meetings with Omisore openly. It galvanised APC into action and being the party in government, pdp cannot match what they are going to offer Omisore.
But the problem, is they believed in the skill of Saraki to get Omisore without knowing that Saraki works for nobody except himself.
He needs the publicity for his presidential party primary election.
And also the way my brothers from the east is championing the cause of Adeleke and insulting everybody is not helping Adeleke. It will also galvanize the other side into action.

Some things are worse than some.

It is bad that Messi didn't attend.
It is worse that Ronaldo didn't attend.

Okay?

If Iniesta beat Ronaldo to an award, it wouldn't be too bad for Ronaldo to snub the award ceremonies.

If Iniesta beat Messi to an award, it would be inhuman for him to snub the award ceremonies.

Why?

1.They were team mates for a decade.
2.They were friends for a decade.
3.Iniesta had a contribution in some of the previous awards Messi won.

All these apply with Modric and Ronaldo.

Messi is no saint, He behaves badly sometimes, everyone does.

But speaking in terms of tolerance, attitude and team spirit on the pitch, he is a million times a better team person than Ronaldo.

CR7 and Modric may still be personal friends, but they are competitors now, so you can't use Messi's episode when he and Iniesta were still teammates to berate CR7 for not attending when Modric isn't his teammate anymore.

You are comparing apples to oranges.

PS: BTW, Modric's vote was Varane, Cristiano, Griezmann; while Ronaldo's vote was Varane, Modric, Griezmann. Since hypocrisy don turn some people national anthem.

the uefa awards was 30th August.

ronaldo left real madrid about 30th July.

that's about one month.

i tell you solemnly,

if anybody could treat an ex team mate of just one month that way,

a team mate he played and shared a dressing room with for about 6 years,
win titles together including the almighty champions league,

then he could as well treat his current team mate that way.
