Just before this becomes tense online; I'm here to explain my own part of the story. @LADI_baba, called in respect to this car & sent down his driver to come and inspect. His driver later left to bring 2 mechanics to come and check the overall condition of the car. We test drove the car on the high way. No transmission faults whatsoever was detected as a transmission issue in a car is the easiest to detect if it already exists. The owner is a very close friend of mine and he has never had any issues with the transmission since he bought the car.The problems that were detected was the front driver shock, hub and brake disks. I pleaded with my friend to deduct something substantial for them to fix those issues itemized and he deducted an extra 10k for them. The front wind shield has 2 very small cracks not something very much noticeable and the car has 4 like new tyres except for the spare. In all my transactions, i bring my clients in direct contact with the owners of the cars; No hidden agendas. He paid 830k for the car, 800k to the owner, 12k to me and the rest 18k to his driver he sent. Besides how will someone tell you a car is 6 Months old knowing well the person will get to see the documentations of the car ? Haba ,  The cars i advertise 5months , 6 months registered are all True; and were you got that idea from i don't know oo. The car was transported to Abuja and a few days later he called me and began to give complaints that the car is not moving, that the windshield has broken , car has 1 key. I've sold several Tokunbo cars with just 1 key and i know that's not a new thing; the available key is 1 and if they were more you would have gotten them. It's not a coded key it's an ordinary key you can cut for just 1k. I explained to him the car had no issues whatsoever and he should confirm from his driver and the mechanics he brought along. I explained no one wants problems and why would i advertise a car that will give me one ? He said he has made up his mind and he's returning the car back to Lagos. I explained things to my friend who sold the car , but he refused to listen saying he sold the car in good order and why would he collect back a faulty car , that what if the engine knocks will he still return it ? To cut the story short the car landed Lagos , since my friend would not accept back the car i had to take this issue to the nearest Police station; to my surprise the police told us to go and sort the whole thing out that it's a business transaction and no criminality is involved. Being the middle man i had to take custody of the car. @LADI_baba arrived Lagos , i called on my friend to come so we could reach an agreement since what has happened has happened. We talked and resolved like gentlemen to buy a new Gear box in the car and re sell so he can be able to get his money back. The cost of getting the Gearbox and transportation from Ladipo about 40k. We 3 agreed to bring 13k each. When i called the driver wey chop money inside the business and explained the situation, the guy just switch off phone,  The following day was Ileya 16/11/10 , i was out all morning to visit my Muslim folks, he kept calling that i should come and collect his own 13k that he was leaving back from Abuja, i explained i was out and will be back later and he could give the money to someone and i'll call on the person once I'm around to pick up the money. On getting back , i called the number he sent to me to pick up his own part inorder to buy the Gearbox the following day; the person was close by my place and i got there. On getting there i was surrounded by thugs smoking indian hemp and drinking, they kept saying that they know the number of my house and they told me and to my surprise it was correct, well i was under pressure but i stood like a man. Then i knew i was been setup; i had to do all i could to get out of there safe and sound. I made an undertaking UNDER DURESS to ensure the car will be fixed, sold and his money available on 16/12/10. I was given a copy of the undertaking. I didn't want to call on my friend who sold the car WHY because he's an Igbo guy and that will surely piss them off in that particular place since we were all speaking in our local dialect ( Yoruba ) trying to calm the heat. On getting home my neighbour told me one Mr Niran ( @LADI_baba ) came looking for me. I wondered how he got to know my house. Then i knew this was getting out of hands and i had to let the law take its place. We ( I & my friend ) again returned to the police station and the whole situation is now being controlled by the law. We were advised  to put the car in order and put it up for sale. We've tried on our part to fixed a car that was ruined by the buyer. We bought a new gear box and the old one is still lying at my mechanics place for proofs. If this case is going to court , I'm ready; i 've all his text message threats and each time i reply trying to clarify , he says I'm insulting him,  My people na so the whole thing be ooo.
