Honestly I didn't want to go to this length on this subject matter before,until i started seeing it all over the places the misconceptions of some people who maybe,out of ignorance or mischief making, majority of them still hold the believe that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola actually betrayed his political leader, President Bola Ahmed TINUBU.

In fact we need to shield light on this matter to educate some people who may erroneously believe this narratives of the mischievous people on what actually transpired between Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and President Bola Ahmed TINUBU.
Take your time to do your findings on what i am about to narrate here and try to be objective, reasonable and be fair in your judgement.

Let me first of all say this for the umpteenth time that there is nobody among Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's disciples either dead or alive that is as loyal as Rauf Aregbesola to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU and i stand to be corrected on this with the explanations of what is the definition of LOYALTY?

I may not be able to say much on when both leaders started their political journey in the early 90s not because i am too young to know this but, because of the fact that i wasn't very close to both of them in the early 90s but from 1998 till date,i think i should be able to say one or two things on how both leaders have been relating politically till the time things fall apart between them.

Some of us have been hearing of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola since late 70s during his student unionism day as an activist and this later metamorphosised to political activities which eventually sought him to political limelight and his later discovery by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU who because of this appointed him his Governorship campaign Director General in 1998 and 2003.

Rauf Aregbesola later served as commissioner for works and infrastructures in Lagos State under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and he did very well for eight years.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu also stood firmly by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola when he signified his intention to run for Osun governorship in 2007. Asiwaju spent his fortunes to make sure Rauf Aregbesola succeed in his mission to govern Osun state and Rauf Aregbesola too didn't disappoint his boss when he later succeeded in becoming the governor of Osun.

WHO BETRAYED WHO?
As we all know that nobody who may be aspiring to become either local government chairman which is the smallest unit of government in Nigeria without having plans and the team that will work with him/her if eventually the dream is actualized.
Rauf Aregbesola could not have been dreaming of becoming governor alone without having in mind those who will work with him when actualized the dream. From SSG to CoS and commissioners and Special Advisers.
How Oyetola became the chief of staff to Rauf Aregbesola in 2010 wasn't just happened but one of the proofs of loyalty, otherwise Oyetola would not have emerged the chief of staff. Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola had his preferred candidate for that position who happened to be Oyetola's Kinsman from Iragbiji but,Oyetola was nominated,I don't want to use the term "Imposition" by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu against the wish of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Ogbeni never argued it with his leader but persuaded his choice condidate to be his deputy Chief of staff and this was why both CoS and the Deputy CoS came from the same town in the same local government against how it supposed to be.

If Aregbesola had wanted to offend his leader,he would have turned down the offer but,Ogbeni took it as it was and moved on.
Fast forward to 2018.
We are all aware of the political events that led to how Oyetola became Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola's successor in 2018.it was very glaring then that the people of Osun west senatorial district of Osun were supposed to succeed Ogbeni after completion of his second term in office and the agitation then was so tough and tense but, Asiwaju again ordered that his cousin who has been Chief of staff for eight years under Ogbeni should succeed him against the zoning arrangements and the wishes of Ogbeni.

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola because of his total loyalty to Asiwaju again called all his supporters,to abide by the directive of his boss and work for the electoral success of Oyetola in 2018.

Although this did not go down well with many people and led to breaking away of the then SSG Alhaji Moshood Adeoti and his supporters.They left the party APC and joined another party ADP to contest that election.
This nearly cost APC the governorship seat then.
If Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola had wanted to behave like typical Nigeria politicians, he wouldn't have allowed what happened in 2018 to happen if that of 2010 is taken, but because of his total loyalty to his boss,he took all the blames and insults from some of his commissioners especially Hon Sunday Akere who first called Oyetola AJELE from Lagos then.

You can now imagine the same Oyetola later turned his back against Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and started wagging political wars against him and anyone associating with him while Asiwaju is aware of and did nothing to caution him.
Some people hold the vituperation of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola at Ijebu jesha of February 14th 2022 as his sin against Asiwaju and some of them are even requesting for apologies from Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to Asiwaju.🤔
If Asiwaju and his cousin who was imposed on Ogbeni from chief of staff in 2010 to governor in 2018 could later do all they did to Ogbeni both in Lagos and Osun thereafter for almost four years before Ogbeni later voiced out when it was getting too much in 2022 are not tagged BETRAYERS, why would a reasonable and responsible person now tag Rauf Aregbesola a BETRAYER?
Some of them would say Aregbesola talked tough and he shouldn't have talked tough like that to his leader but, they all hypocritically took their eyes 👀 and ears 👂👂away from all the treatments melted out on Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his loyalists both in Lagos state and Osun between 2018 to 2022 forgotten that he too has blood running in his veins.
Now let their conscience answer this question.
Could Asiwaju as a predecessor take or accept all what Oyetola did to Rauf Aregbesola in Osun?
If not which i am sure he can not, then why are we now blaming Rauf Aregbesola,is it because Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is God Almighty because only Allah is unquestionable?
