I honestly don't care who wins. I was just surprised the speed at which Mike pulled out the shoe lace the very first time, then subsequently show laces gave him some difficulty. It may be that all the shoe laces were not tied the same way and he was lucky.
My wife actually support Mike and we have been arguing on this also.

Mike was not faster. I believed the laces were rigged to favour Mike. The way Mike undid the first shoe lace, it showed it was not tied beyond the first pair of holes, while sir d's shoe lace was laced through all the holes. Mike simply pulled the shoe lace and it just came undone. That was exactly what happened in the initial challenge. The first lace came undone with a simple pull. It was that first lace that gave Mike the advantage to win the first time.
