According to the CAC in their latest news release on their official website, starting from August 1st, service charge for registration would be increased by 100%.
For example, if service charge for business name registration recently costs 10,000, from the 1st of August the service charge for same business name registration would be 20,000.

The Commission wishes to inform the General Public, Esteemed Customers, and all Stakeholders that in the continued efforts to improve its service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August,
2025.

This decision follows the careful consideration of prevailing economic realities, rising operational costs as well as engagement of critical Stakeholders ahead of implementation.

The review of fees is crucial to ensuring that the Commission continues to provide prompt, efficient, and technology-driven services that meet the expectations of its Stakeholders for the benefit of the Nigerian Economy.

The Commission hereby assures the General Public that the review is modest, competitive and aligns with its efforts to enhance service delivery through digitalized operations and, to maintain the integrity of the Nigerian Corporate Registry.

The Commission remains committed to transparency, accountability and customer satisfaction as it strives to build a more resilient and responsive corporate regulatory.
