Edo people have very short term memory and they're very good at complaining about bad governance.

Obaseki has ruled Edo for 8 years and has performed abysmally.

He did not fund public education. He did not fund public healthcare. He did not encourage new companies to set-up business in Edo.

Edo state has been overtaken by mushroom expensive private schools because public education is dead in Edo state.

All public primary and secondary schools in Edo state are in terrible conditions.

Obaseki destroyed state library because he doesn't value education or know the importance of public libraries.

Erosion is ravaging Edo state and Benin city because Obaseki did not build good roads in Edo state or put erosion control measures in place. Something Oshiomole did.

Edo state is experiencing massive inflow of people from other states thus increasing pressure on security, infrastructure and public health.

Obaseki destroyed Edo central hospital. Till date he has not rebuilt it.

Healthcare is now so expensive in Edo state.

All this under Obaseki and yet Edo people want to vote for Obaseki stooge.

Edo people really have short memory and they can easily be controlled by sentiment.

If you guys like vote someone that did not perform for 8 years.

The problem Nigeria is facing now will be worse by next year.

Was Obaseki not an APC member before? Besides, do you know that things are more expensive in Benin than Lagos, Abuja and Porthacourt?

We are not voting party but individual. Cause Obaseki was originally an APC member and today he is in PDP. He was incompetent before, he is still incompetent now that he is in PDP. He spent 8 years with no single project to his name.

Morally speaking, Godwin Obaseki's candidate or political party doesn't deserve to win going by the way and manner Obaseki governed the State for 8 years where he selfishly made sure that some state constituencies were denied representations for 4 good years just because he wanted to be an absolute ruler. But then, does the APC too deserve the support of the voters in the State or anywhere else in the country going by the economic hardships and sufferings on the people, I would say a big NO, especially, going by the quality of the candidate they have even resolved to impose on the Edo people. Luckily for them, they also have an alternative candidate Olumide Akpata on the Labour Party platform whose party is unfortunately not as popular as the other two big wigs, the APC & PDP. If the election were to be held during the last general elections in 2023, perhaps, he might stand a chance through the Obi movement but as it is now the people are now wiser and they just might still want to go with either of the traditional Devil & the Deep blue sea (APC or PDP). Though, the alternative is still very much available to them which leaves them with the GOOD, the BAD & the Ugly.

PDP is the worst thing to ever happen to this country

They corrupted the system so bad that they indirectly taught every other groups, parties and people how to cheat and still publicly brag about it


PDP isnt even in power, yet they still successfully turned NLC into one of their wing-men.

Edo state ( especially Edo south) is the headquarters of obidients in the SS region. With this appearance Edo south especially Benin metropolis will be divided.Akpata will either win Edo south or come a close second to pdp or Apc

This is a pdp territory that is shaking from electoral pressure by APC and Lp. Gladiators on the side of pdp include embattled chair Natasha Osawaru, hon Ogbeide Isibor,Hon Egbe Ogbemudia,hon Stella Obazee,Monday Ogiemwonyi. On the APC side,we have APC national woman leader Hon Mary Alille, Hon chief Emma Iyase( Ihaza N'Udo), Barr Nosa Adams, chief Lucky Imasuen,Hon pius Alille, Hon Crosby Eribo,Dr Galatians Igbinedion etc. it will be a close call

Look at the gaps to the front and rear of the photograph.

Same with APC campaign posters on nairaland. They label every crowd as massive, even if most don't have more than 500 people.

Do PDP and APC really believe readers are deceived when they can clearly see the truth.
