And to make it easier, almost all car dealers partner with VIO as agents. So they can easily capture you, register you online and give you your license plates when you purchase a car from them.

So regardless of your location, you certainly wouldn't encounter any problem in getting license plates provided you purchased your car from a dealer.

What are they registering that should take them one week? Unless the person doing it for him was just lazy. Cos there's nothing special in registering license plates. Just your regular biodata and Voila the plates are ready.
