@larrysng  I am a post ume candidate and I totally support it because I have seen what happens during the so-called jamb, runs flying in from different angles. If Jamb can be written like SAT, then post ume can be stopped cos there's no way of cheating in SAT except the teacher goes away for a minute and they won't. But for now, post ume must stay so the universities would see the kind of students they are admitting. I think university of ibadan's decision to conduct a post ume this year was a very good one because their so called students with A-parallel were scoring 18/100, imagine

I got 62 mehn, prayed to be among the top 5 in my department but I was 6th, I still thank God

post utme should be abolish cos the student ar forced to cough out a lot of money buying post utme forms and scratch card frm universities to polytechnics to even colleges of education. Lets do some mathematics here.forms ranges frm 3,500 to 4,000 in universities after that u are might to buy scratch card of 1500 for result checking for universites u av to do dat for both first and secnd choice.the same thing apply to poly and college of educatn. And secondly admision is no longer on merit,u have to sort lecturers with fee ranging frm 80,000 to 150,000 b4 u ar admited.look at their merit list they are not more than 20 candidate admited in each department but the rest has to come in through d back door

It should not be abolished until jamb becomes more coordinated. As long as there is still room for runs in jamb, post ume should stand. Every university wants to admit the best students that can make them proud and with the rate at which answers fly around in jamb, they cannot. if they say the cost is disturbing, they should reduce it and parents should know that its not the university's fault but jamb. I feel that if jamb adopts a computer written exam, then they can abolish post ume

2011/2012 session begins on nov 14,2011. I hope I get admission and they live up to that, I'm so tired of home

@habeebullahi there were about 3 lists last year if I can remember well but I'm not basing my statement on that. its from a reliable source but ui can change its mind anytime o.

Na that physics,chai. I don happy say no calculations but those kind obj questions wey go be like theory dey vex me. Na only 2 I no do for maths, that cone mensuration and one other one but I sure for everything for english sha

@donmayor that mean say its of no use now, na that ' wrong sentence' own I go dey pick correct answer instead of wrong one before something just slap me for brain lol I first dey lose hope when I see physics cos e too technical but things gats turn for maths and english

They're now uploading examination centre and seat number at www.admissions.ui.edu.ng but I can't see anything there except tables, maybe its my phone I don't know so anyone on pc should pls check

As I can see, they're working on the site cos ' result checking' is no more there. If anyone sha see am, make he alert boys so we go fit print first thing tomorrow morning o

I didn't even know ui sent email to me cos it went to spam telling me to print invitation letter. Someone else should put his username and password in admissions.ui.edu.ng and see if it would write ' invalid login parameters' or its just me its telling that
