PoliticsRe: Buhari Social Program: Laudable, Laughable Or Dead On Arrival? by ThisMeansWAR: 8:38pm On Apr 19, 2015
Who cares of its feasible or not?

The only reason I voted Jonathan was to gimme light cos it's affecting my business.. He failed woefully and he even raised fuel price to add salt to injury...

How many Nigerians wait for government to feed them or their kids... People want basic amenities and support from the government for the small scale businesses and they will feed their children themselves.

If Buhari can provide electricity, refineries so issue of subsidies won't be coming up whenever they looted the treasury dry, and gave us basic infrastructure... Forget the free food.. Nigerians are not that lazy to be waiting for government to feed them or their family.

Not hating, just stating the obvious, I consulted for United Nations, UNICEF AND IMF in the past.Artist do not get paid crazy money to appear here since it's a show done on humanitarian grounds

What they do is they look after your flight and accommodation and you are given i think it's about 5000 dollars spend money to look after your crew.

The UN generally invite people who they see as World Ambassadors to boost the awareness of the course they are trying to highlight to the World in general.

As much as The United Nations has a lot of red tape and huge amount of funds to spend, due diligence does not allow them to throw money AR Artists direct,y like that .

Dbanj is popular globally still does not make his pocket swell financially . That's my opinion, so I think he's caught up in taking selfies to show the world he's bigger and still doing well + greet things out there. Only his accountant can venue like tell him they oga we have nit made any real money in the past 1 year apart from the stipends United Nations and the other world organisations like DAVOS give us ooo.

Out of all the people I see at this show only USHER still has a booming career And Chris Martin of Cold Play. Mary J Blige is broke (check the web) and Will I -am is more of a TV face these days than an artist

Conclusion, you can be popular and be seen globally and still not be rich . Trust my judgement on this.

Not on anybody's side or hating but Dbabjs career is surely not on the up unless Hes decided not to sing anymore and Just wants to be an ambassador snapping selfies with global world know faces.

Why do you think up and coming artists never show up for shows like this, because it's not worth their while. Dem Rita Ora and co will rather spend more time in the studio than be seen on TV globally and have drupe dry pockets

It's okay to do one or two in a year but Dbanj seems to VUE available for all of them when he's invited. He was at DAVOS when IMF called, he was in MONACO, was at United Nations HQ during the summit. Was at World Food Day organised by WHO. He really needs to draw a line or he will be scene as choking his brand

It's okay to be on Twitter if you have musical and career material to promote along side, that's how it's done . It's not as if he can sing his latest material "feeling the Ni. Gaaaa" on stage here, can he

Needs to balance his appearance on these shows . That's what his management team need to do

Simple I wish him all the best
Dude, more fame brings more endorsement..

That's why Michael Jackson, and this guitarist guy in the 80 (forgot his name) still bring in money Even when they died ...
Even if he stops singing, Dbanj or koko master as a brand will keep making money for him. international artist like Dbanj and a global ambassador cannot easily go broke unless something went wrong ... He is Not local champion that would go broke immediately he stops singing because the Nigeria companies no long endorse him.

Sometimes I ask what Buhari intends to do differently.

Even in the proposed fight against corruption, all we hear are jails, prosecution and punitive measures which cannot eliminate corruption in itself. So much noise, hype and propaganda. Without strengthening our institutions and putting in systems to check sharp practices like GEJ was doing ..... corruption will continue unabated across board

It might take some time for the average Nigerian to discern but very sensible minds understand already that we lost GEJ ....... he didn't lose.

You don't understand economics so stop typing garbage. It is precisely because of economic progress and rising incomes and education in Nigeria that we have so many millions who can afford and decide to get on a plane and migrate to other nations to seek wider opportunities. Just like the Chinese and Indians. Our grandparents, illiterate peasants, had no such choice but were stuck on their village farms due to colonial neglect. Nigerians in SA are not refugees who got off a boat and need your pity. Most of them are richer than you.

guy, read my posts on this issue on this thread. The very first people I blamed and still blame are nigerians going to sa when it is obvious they are not wanted. My second post on this thread on this issue ,I stated that jona is weak and that nigeria is the giant of africa, mtn nigeria alone accounts for almost if not over 40% of mtn global group total profit, shoprite has it biggest mall in africa cited in nigeria ,dstv makes it major profits from the nigerian market, I advocated for government to close down these companies under the pretex of protecting them against reprisal attacks . These companies can't afford to lose money for 72hrs before mounting pressure on zuma, but our govt seems to be behaving as if what is happening in sa is normal. Already mozambique has deported 360 south africans and have closed the south african chemical plant saying they are taking precautionary measures against reprisal attacks, we all know better. Silence means consent. Gej has to make a public warning to the south african govt that nigeria will hold the south african govt responsible for any loss of nigeria life and that we too have the capacity to retaliate with appropriate legal measure ,
good then... The message is for those asking Nigerians to start acting like savages by killing them and destroying or looting their businesses.

ok then ,let's leave everything in gods hands . Abi?
Dude, there is no point killing mosquitoes with hammer. We could simply close down south African businesses in the country temporarily.. We could boycott their products... But we shouldn't destroy them so other investors from meaningful won't start thinking we are savages like them.
Ever since Lebanonese destroyed KFC during the innocence of Muslim video protests, investors all over the world have been wary of investing that country.

Acting like savages won't solve anything.. It's not gonna help South Africa on the long run.

What the fuc*k are Nigerians doing about this, if your government is too inept to protect the interests of its citizens, can't Nigerians at home take matter into their hands?

Nigerian businesses are being plundered and destroyed in SA while Nigerians fold their arms and watch South African businesses enjoy the safety their home country never afforded foreigners.... This is madness.
we are not savages.

Besides, some people will be out of work if we decide to act like those Savage animals in South Africa.

Seriously, why should any sane person employ a woman who looks like this witch as a nanny?
Majority of Nigerian parents who employ dirty, filthy and re-tarded nannies are idiotic fools, because why will any sane person leave innocent children in the care of another person who cannot take care of them when the person cannot even take care of himself or herself.
You spend millions of naira to send your children to middle class and upper class kindergarten and primary schools under the tutelage of highly educated teachers and guardians and then leave them in the care of stark illiterate or semi-literate house maids and house boys who will only end up messing them up with their bad manners, filthiness and ugliness like this evil nanny who kidnapped the helpless children left in her care.
How can uneducated nannies who cannot speak good English communicate with your children?
How can dirty and filthy nannies who came from slums where they have horrible latrines teach your children toilet manners in state of the art modern toilets?
Nigerian parents having such dirty and filthy nannies, because they want cheap labor are just idiotic fools. I actually laugh and sneer at then whenever I see them. They are the ones risking the lives of their innocent children by employing such dirty, filthy and ugly re-tarded housemaids and house boys. FIE!
