—Investments into the Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ), an emerging business hub in the Lagos axis of the state has risen to over N100 billion in the last 10 years. Chairman of Lekki Free Zone Development Company, Mr. Abiodun Dabiri, who disclosed this while giving progress report on the Zone to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, said more investors have indicated interest in coming to set up businesses in the Zone. Dabiri said the recent efforts by the governor, especially in the change of baton in the management of the Zone has yielded positive results over the last one year. He said with the massive investments coming into the Zone as well as interests from new investors, there was need for the road network to be expanded to accommodate the expected heavy influx. While responding, Governor Ambode said his administration in partnership with its Chinese partners will commit a sum of $62 million in the next six months as part of its counterpart funding to advance the ongoing development of the Lekki Free Trade Zone, LFTZ. He assured that the government was totally committed to addressing the challenges and ensuring the project is actualised. He said over $6 billion has been invested in the LFTZ in the last few years, with the Dangote Group providing a lion share of about $4 billion. Governor Ambode also assured that work would commence on the Lekki Deep Sea Port, saying that it was also a critical infrastructure that would attract more investors into the Zone and ensure return on investment. He expressed optimism that with the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Dangote Refinery and Lekki Airport coming on board, the Lagos East axis would witness massive economic turnaround within the next two years To choose from our list of available Real Estate investment choice , please call or whatsapp Rosedale Realty on 08068677558 or 08158770323 Rosedaleproperty@gmail.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X471Dm3dogA

Ibeju lekki is also known as the new lagos because 95% 0f the development that is coming to lagos are all going to Ibeju-Lekki some of those important landmarks are: Dangote multi Billion Dollar Refinery: The Chairman, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, had in 2013 disclosed plans to build a 400,000-barrel-per-day crude oil refinery in Ibeju Lekki and subsequently awarded the contract to an Indian company, Engineers India Limited. Notwithstanding the presence of other companies in the area, such as Raffle Oil LFTZ Enterprises, Obat Oil, Progress Marine Limited, a shipping company that has also bought hundreds of hectares of land in the area for its tank farm development, Eko Resort and a few others, the proposed refinery is expected to signal the commencement of the multi-billion naira investment in the zone. Although preliminary work, including clearing of the site, has barely begun, the prices of land in the areas surrounding the Lekki Free Trade Zone have gone up by over 900 per cent. Lekki Free Trade Zone: The Master Plan of Lekki Free Trade Zone (“Lekki FTZ”) covers a total area of about 30 square kms with 27 square kms for urban construction purposes, which would accommodate a total resident population of 120,000. As per the Master Plan, Lekki FTZ will be developed and turned into a new modern city with integration of industries, commerce & business, real estate development, warehousing & logistics, tourism & entertainment etc. Lekki Deep Seaport: the development of Lekki Deep Seaport (Phase I) that is estimated to gulp about $1.5 billion. When completed, the port would relieve the pressure on the Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports and would also support business activities at the Lekki Free Trade Zone. The construction of the port is expected to last for about four years and more than 10,000 jobs are projected to be created directly and indirectly during the construction period while more than 169,000 jobs would be generated directly and indirectly when it becomes fully operational, according to government sources. Lekki-Epe International Airport: The state government has commenced works on the development of the Lekki-Epe International Airport to transport services in the state. The State Government has successfully obtained the site approval for the airport from the Federal Ministry of Aviation and has also completed the master plan of the 3,500 hectares of land earmarked for the project. “The Lekki-Epe International Airport is designed to handle about five million passengers annually with provision for a modular terminal for future expansion. Preliminary works on the airport project have commenced with the clearing of 150 hectares (runway), 4.5km of the access road and 9km of perimeter road. Pan Atlantic University: Pan-Atlantic University is a private, non-profit educational institution in Lagos, Nigeria. The university had its origin as the Lagos Business School (LBS), established in 1991. The federal government approved the university as Pan-African University in 2002, and the LBS became its first school. In May 2013 its name was changed to Pan-Atlantic University, in order to avoid confusion with the Pan-African University of the African Union.[1] The Ajah Campus was completed in 2003 and in 2010 work began on the Ibeju-Lekki campus. Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate: Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate is an exclusive 308-hectare residential development set within a scenic countryside around an 18-hole world-class golf course. WHY IS IBEJU-LEKKI, THE FASTEST GROWING CITY IN LAGOS? If you did not witness the official flag off of the Lekki deep seaport project by His Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Thursday 29th March, 2018 at the Deep Seaport site, Ibejulekki…chances are you do not know that it is getting real at Ibejulekki. With other planned and ongoing projects in the same location like the New Lekki Airport, Dangote Refinery, Lekki free Trade Zone, Eleganza Industries, etc. if you still haven’t bought a plot of land at Ibejulekki, you need to have a rethink. Don't be the man or woman who will be telling stories on how he or she knew when Ibejulekki was a bush, rather be an eagle eyed investor who sees value and future prospect.
