South Africa Unveils New Train Model, To Run By 2015

VENTURES AFRICA – New set of ultra-modern blue and silver trains will soon hit the South African railway tracks to replace the ageing Metrorail fleet by the end of 2015, the Passenger Rail Association of SA (PRASA) has confirmed. The association also has plans to introduce a 1,025 seating capacity Business Express Train.

With accessories such as air-conditioning, closed-circuit television CCTV cameras to assure passengers’ safety, automated doors, an on-board communication system and Wi-Fi connectivity services to make travelling an equally good experience as the Business Express trains; the new sleek-nosed train might just be the answer to the long-wait of waiting for trains as it will be available in a frequency of two to three minutes during peak-hours and seven minutes during off-peak hours by 2015.

Politics / What Are Nature And The Causes Of Modern Tribalism? by tim107: 10:33am On Aug 21, 2013
Modern tribalism is the ideology that human beings have evolved to live in tribal society, as opposed to mass society. Neo-Tribalism is a modern sociological phenomenon that has developed in response to civilization, or the modern corporation/state society, wherein smaller social groupings of like-minded communities are formed. These smaller groupings, loosely referred to as tribes, are bound by common practices, values, beliefs or goals, with varying degrees of adherence to traditional tribal practices ranging from the purely aesthetic to the radically orthodox.

Politics / Don't Marry A Nigerian Living Illegally In Your Country. by tim107: 10:57am On Aug 10, 2013
Don’t marry a Nigerian man living illegally in your country or any foreign nation. A Nigerian man that finally made the harsh decision to leave his homeland to migrate to a foreign nation without legal travel and resident permits will do anything beyond his comfort to remain in that foreign nation because he knows that home is not the best for him. Therefore, he wouldn’t mind marrying a foreign lady he may not truly love or like just to secure a resident permit. Therefore, if you truly want a lasting, genuine relationship or marriage with a Nigerian man abroad, make sure he is a legal resident with good means of livelihood.

Politics / Solar Energy Is It The Best Solution For Nigeria? by tim107: 12:03pm On May 24, 2013
We've used the sun for drying clothes for thousands of years, but only recently we are able to use it for generating power. In fact every minute, enough energy arrives at the earth to meet our demands for the whole year -if only we could harness it properly.

Solar energy maybe is the best solution for africa, one house, one solar panel by year 2020 every house will have electricity.
