I went to Kogi state last 3 weeks, I drove their actually to Obajana an official basis. I took a detour to Ondo while returning to Lagos. I had to use the opportunity cuz it's been long I visited my dad after retired from service. Yea k saw some improvements but, c'mon we can do better nah..as oil producing state, it's a very very big disappointment.

Ondo wit so much money as oil producing state..I expect then government to do way better ..haba

It's common sense and logical that your state is there, Abuja and Lagos not there..it simply means the people used to compile this statistics based their reasons on states that are relatively cheaper to live...food, accommodations, transport etc. These are the focus..it's logical

Don't you guys think its time to draw the line between African songs and Afrobeats? Most of these songs here are simply African songs? 2face and Psquare's style were mostly Reggae. PSquare was doing some Pop & RnB. Abdelkareem was pure rap.

Only Wizkid's Ojuelegba is pure and refined Afrobeats. Fela and Tony Allen were the pioneers of this genre. There's a special african drum that goes with it, some percussions and usually a slow-type of beat with this special trumpet sound, and usually with some Yoruba lyrics to boot. It should be said that afrobeats lyrics tend to be socially conscious or afro-lifting.

Another pure trendy and modern afrobeat song you would find is Wande Coal's "So mi so".
