Maybe your System does not meet the minimium requirement for the installation of Window 7.
Please did it show any form of blue screen.

Really, yes is true, some Microsoft office 07 do not have the capability due to been the original one. Try to get Office 2010, wishing u gudluck.
Have seen it work with Microsoft office.

You could use either Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010, click on SAVE AS, then select SAVE AS PDF.

The problem might be from the fan, either it is not functioning or there are dirt within it that prevents it from carrying out its functions.

For 3d applications, you need a graphics card.
And if u plan using the laptop for some month, then buy it. You need to plan for the future, forget this one and get a system with a higher configuration.

Check for one with more processor core (dual, quad etc)
Try to get one with a higher RAM size.
Try to get 1 with a graphics card.
These are mainly for the 3d application.

Check if your driver is complete especially the display driver. It works with window 7.
