Yes it truly could be anybody's hands, but that can't stop anyone from drawing suspicion from it. Just like you can draw suspicion from him using his supposed wife's phone and account. He can also say that's not supposed to be a big deal. See the different perspective?

The lesson here is not to do anything that would bring up suspicion. You admit that you were impatient in posting the empty bottles, and while I understand this can happen to anyone who wants to sell her goods, it still has brought suspicion whether you like it or not. Things only cleared up after you posted the complete product.

If the accused is a blackmailer/scammer, he would need something to hold unto, you gave him that "something".
Trying to promote products before 100% packaging doesn't equate scam, that's impatience. I didn't promise that products are ready for delivery that night, not even the following day. I said Thursday. I didnt ask him for money, I didn't send him my account number. I told him the moment he called to make enquiries about the product that the finished products are not ready yet, if he didn't believe my story he should have just moved on without asking for pictures, he just wanted something as evidence so he could label me a scammer, thereby blackmailing me in the process .

This is just a case of mistrust, impatience and misunderstanding gone wrong. Both of them are right and wrong.

The op didn't initially have proof enough to convince the accused that she had the goods she was selling; especially since she expects payment before delivery. Sending empty bottles with strange hands can raise anyone's suspicion. she can be deemed a scammer by the accused by the accused and truly would have wanted to smartly negate that by coming online first.

However, coming online first only gives the op a head start, what is nailing the accused is the text message he sent to the op. From the text msg ( if true), the accused isn't a scammer but a blackmailer , they are different. He wanted to (as a sharp guy, as evidenced by his antecedents) get money from the op in exchange for not coming online with a scammer story he has discovered. He may truly feel he has found another online scammer, but asking for money shifts the blame on his head and it will.be difficult to extricate himself from that one.

I bumped into this thread from the start and what I felt was the issue then is what I still.maintain, and it's what I've stated here.
I wonder what is it about the strange hands everybody keeps talking about? It could be any body's hands in my house, moreover the pic was taken at night which accounts for the dark hands. The only mistake I made here was I was too quick to send pictures when the products weren't 100% ready, should have waited till the following day when the products were ready before I sent the pics (which I promised him to do the following day but he insisted on seeing the SIZE). didnt know he had a hidden agenda.

I actually think he could be telling the truth. All the other pictures the OP posted were whatsapp chats and there was no request for MTN credit there. The one where Adewumi was allegedly asking her for MTN credit was a text message. So I can understand if he says he didn't send the text messages requesting for credit as SMSs could very well be doctored. Plus sending pictures of a dark person holding empty bottles when she is fair too is a big question mark. Adewumi has his own "comma" too.

Let me follow the thread and learn sha. Someone I even used to call my friend wanted to scam me yesterday. This life sha!!!
Please read the thread from the beginning. He called on the phone requesting for the product, told him they come in 500ml bottles, finished package will be ready the following day. He said he just needed to see the size of the bottle, which I sent to him. Now I know why he insisted on seeing the size. He needed something something to hold on to so I could fall for his cheap blackmail.

As for the text message, I attached it in my Original Post and I will attach it again.

I was banned.that was why I was unable to reply since. I still maintain that this is my wife account which we both make use on the health section to make some findings. It is a thing you can all confirm.I will be grateful if you can all understand. If I ever scam anyone,I am sure someone will have identified me immeaditely.I will appreciate if you can look things from my own side of view.It is a case of the hunter become hunted.I swear with my life that I never scam in my life.About the information someone here culled from my Facebook. Is there a crime in buying a laptop?is there a crime in engaging myself in online registration business before the national youth service?the hooks up matter was in 2013 and this is 2016.about the rector issue,my school was on strike then and people were asking for his no that they will like to talk to the rector(about the lingering strike) to call off the strike. With what you saw there, the people I am communicating with know that I was only joking and you don't have to take that up against me please or did anyone tell you I actually pretended to be the rector of the school.Infact nobody called me because everybody knows me in that group. If I ever scam anyone, may almighty God judge me.I was interested in what she posted that she need people to buy her coconut oil which could generate profit for someone but she was unable to convince me. She sent only the images of empty bottles to me.I asked her to send even if it is just one of the finished products but she refused. She told me she will send it the following day but I was not convince enough.I was like how will you not have one of your products you have been selling because when I called her,she didn't tell me she is just starting up the business.I actually told her she could be one of the people who don't have anything to offer but actually collect money from the gullible ones.I even asked her if she would have sent the empty bottles for me if I have paid before shipping the items to me.Since she told me that she will be shipping out then items to different states from Lagos on Thursday, definitely she have been in the system and should have the image sample of her products. You can get some of our chats on the screenshot she attached to her allegation.Because she is a lady does not mean she can't do a scam. She have been posting different kind of job opportunities in nairaland job section,I asked her to prove to me from her recent achievement she got from those posts but she was unable. That also made me suspicious which brought out the anger in me.I told her I am coming to nairaland to report her nefarious activities here but unfortunately she was here before me and she flooded nairaland with my details and pictures. Please nairalanders,I am not into scam.I don't do it.People here should reason along with me.There is no how I will just pick someone no here and begin to call for recharge cards. It is never done.I beg you in the name of God,don't tarnish my reputation. You can only do that if there is anybody that claim I have in one way or the other swindle them even if its a naira. There is nothing worse than tarnishing someone image. Please, try and reason with me.You can carry out investigations about me.I am not a cheat.e o ni ri alakoba ni ile aye Yin.Run an investigation on me please before you soil my name here because a soiled name here will take a long way to be redeemed.I am not begging anyone here.I just want people to conduct an investigation about me.Even if the mod thinks this is frontpage worthy, let him do investigation about me before he do that please.I am not into scam. The lady in question here is just the type that his husband will catch sleeping with his brother and immeaditely burst into tear that the brother wants to rape her.I called the lady yesterday to challenge her but throughout the call duration, she was just shouting at me on top of her voice and she didn't allow me to utter some words.I beg you in the name of God,I am not into scam and if probably anyone here want to spoil my reputation,he should conduct an investigation on me before he or she do that.thank you.If I am into scam, there is no how I will tell her my real name when I first called her and there is no how I will chat with her with my wife phone and called her for the first time with my own number knowing fully well she is a nairalander.
Adewunmi, you should stop arguing at this point. If I was Lying against you, the findings made on Facebook about you claiming to be the Rector of a Polytechnic, are those lies too? Like I said on the phone, you wanted to play a smart one on me and it boomeranged in your face. I knew you had a hidden agenda when you called me yesterday morning with a PRIVATE NUMBER, sounding so gentle, different from the person that I spoke with 2 days ago who was hurling insults without a care in the world. You wanted to come back to gloat that you challenged me on the phone, you did not do anything of such, you were sober and gentle. It is a good thing I recorded the conversation. Mods, please I cant seem to post the Phone Record here, keeps giving error message. Can anybody help?

Okay, I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere.
For now, i'll follow this post closely. The accused might not have been patient enough, and with the latest screenshots, the accused don't want to send cash not until he sees the product been sold. Which is OK.
The only thing we can do now is to wait for the op to cone show us the complete finished product and snapped by herself this time.

@Elhayjay Just chill a bit, let her come on today. Because you weren't patient enough initially.
If you've ever registered a forex account, you will know calling and persuasion doesn't necessarily mean scam.
Those guys can call you 10times a day, but its real.

Patiently Waiting though...
Someone has gone as far as busting this guy's scams all the way to Facebook and other platforms and people are still giving him the benefit of doubt. It's only normal for him to keep trying to save face.
Here are my finished goods and let me say this clearly Adewunmi contacted me first on my MTN to make enquiries about my product. I called him on GLO line when the insults started to stop him from calling me names (still thinking he was a genuine buyer). I repeat, I do not have any reason to call this boy 10 times like you stated. What's the desperation for? If one customer doesn't buy, others will.

Stop calling the name of the Lord in vain. I called you with my numbers and this is very normal when you think you are dealing with a potential customer. You got angry when I said I wasn't going to do payment on delivery and started calling me names. You thought I would fall for that scam.
You are very quick to call God now, did you remember Him when you set out to dupe your fellow human? There's no justification for the blackmail.

Why for Chrissakes will i call you to beg you to do business with me, begging you to send money? Listen to yourself. Can you please come out to tell the whole world your reason for asking for Recharge Card when I'm not owing you or are you my staff? I only came on Nairaland to let the world know a scammer like you is on the prowl. But don't force me to fish you out of your hiding. I know you don't live in oshogbo like you claimed.

Can you imagine this girl thinks she is wiser than me.So,you hurriedly came to nairaland to create a thread before I could create mine just because I don't have power on my phone.Definitely you are very dubious.Yes,I called you to know the kind of thing you produce if I could be managing it with what am managing here.I asked for a sample of what you produces and you sent me images of lacasera plastics.I was not contented with with your claim that you have been in this business for long. You should have posted the pictures you sent to me if nairalandera won't ask you is that all what you got that you are claiming you are into a business.Definitely you rushed down to nairaland to create a thread before me when I told you I will tell the whole world that you are a dubious fellow. In order not to beat you on that, you came here to spew gibberish.I will post the thread you created here that you need someone who will market your products and I thought if it is a good product,I can try my hand on it. THEN you should have convinced me. INSTEAD you sent me the pictures which were not enough to convince me.How will you send pictures like these without your company labels, the components that make up your coconut oil which you claimed cure diabetes, hypertension, scars and all those. Then,I told you that you must be a scammed and I am definitely going to report you. Please,it will be nice if you could post all the remaining chats of ours.Did you tell nairalanders how you called me to beg me that I should cover you up.
Dewunmi or whatever you called yourself you are a common thief, yes I sent you the pics of those sterilised bottles that will be used tomorrow for packaging and they are not Lacasera bottles like you want people to believe. I never claimed to have been in business for long . Like I said in the original post, I'm a new startup trying to promote my new business.
I called you on your phone inviting you to Lagos that I would pay your transport to see that my business is legit. What did you say? You insulted me and asked that I send you a Recharge Card so you wont 'expose' me. I didn't have to go to the trouble of sending pictures from my living room but I had to so you could believe, didn't know you had a hidden agenda.

He called asking for the size of the bottle, told him 500ml and he asked to see a pic of the size of the bottle which I sent, promising to send the packaged bottle with company logo tomorrow. I didn't know he was up to something when he kept saying scammer, thief, olosho. I thought he was doubting my business, I didn't know he was the scammer himself. Lowlife scammer

People of Nairaland. Please learn from this. I am a new business just starting up with my Virgin coconut oil business. I posted an ad here that I needed vendors and agents to distribute my product and this guy from Oshogbo called that he needed a dozen. He sent his whatsapp number and we started chatting.

He requested for the size and I sent a picture of the bottle promising to send the original package once it's ready tomorrow morning.
We agreed on a price and he asked for the form of payment. I responded that I will send my account number when we get to that stage. He said he wanted payment on delivery and I told him I don't do payment on delivery outside Lagos. He said I should send my Lagos address that he will come himself to pick and I was happy to oblige him; I innocently sent my address.

The next thing I knew he started calling me all sorts of names, scammer, thief, Olosho (a prostitute) etc. He sent me a screen shot of my pictures calling me different names that he was going to spread my number all over social media that I'm a scammer. At this point, I was shocked and I explained to my husband who was there with me, he advised that I called him. I did and I asked if he knew me anywhere before now. I had not even requested any form of money, all I said was I will send the original image before they are dispatched to my other customers tomorrow.

The next thing I knew he sent a message asking that I send him a recharge card if I don't want to be exposed, that he's an SS. My people, please beware of this guy, his name is Adewunmi and these are his phone numbers and pictures. 0703 136 8684, 07061943752.
