Battery is not an issue (2000Mah), it depends on how the power management on phones.

5MP camera that would do better than some people's 13MP. Haha

depends if you are a power user or regular user. Mostly its if you understand the technicalities of rooting. Just imagine and android running on steroids

I wasn't even taking about the ability to play hd movies. My concern is the ppi, too low for 2016 and for a 5.5 inch phone. U can see the pixels when looking at the screen, they should have gone with 1080p since they are selling the phones for close to 50k.

And it's ok if u wanna compare movie titles. I have a whole lot, all hd. I don't download anything less than 720p, I don't watch cam either. Antman, mad max(both 2d and 3d), the man from uncle (1080p), beats of no nation, hitman agent 47, etc.

The PPI is beautiful for a 39k phone o. The S+ is a very good alternative for the Samsung Galaxy J7 also.

that's only in our country, Gionee is a world brand na for only some African countries we know Techno. Go to most top phone sites in the world they all have reviews about Gionee phones especially because of their super strong batteries

i think you should try using king root. It works on all mediatek devices or your can just search on Google

I know this thread is full of gionee lovers, or probably everyone here is a promoter or agent, but I will answer ur question andbget our if here.

First of all, gionee s plus (267 ppi) and gionee m5 (267 ppi) are not sold for 30k. Their price is between 43k and 48k depending on where u buy it. For a 720p display Chinese phone that is too expensive. I will give u a few phones withing that price range and some even have 3gb of ram and 1080p display.

1. Xiaomi redmi note 2 (403 ppi)
2. Lenovo k3 note (401 ppi)
3. elephone p8000 (401 ppi, 3gb ram)

These are just a few. U see gionee are ripping u off releasing a 720p phone in November 2015 and selling for close to 50k when there are better displays with same price range.

Those specs are for outside Nigeria. Once they get it, it drops to 2GB ram, yet price remains same. They cheat us in this country.
