The APC knows that a small opportunity given to any opposition party will spell their doom in capital letters concerning Benue state reason why they are going dirty.

For those that don't know , party primaries were conducted and most incubemt nation assembly members who are loyal to the current SGF lost to the Governors camp faction . Then the party national leadership remove names of the winners whom were in the governors faction and replace them with names of those loyal to the SGF.

The governor has organic followers and anything or mistake of not given him the ticket for re-election will collapse APC in the state by more than 60% so he was left alone. Now those whose faction which is more popular are doing anti party openly, this includes the governors aides.

I am writing this as a supposed beneficiary of the audio announcement that is often reel out by this present administration. This schemes which are supposed to help the poor is been mismanaged a selected few in power. Here is my experience and what i think ;

1.The government is always quick to make announcements without proper planning. The very day mr.president assume office was the very day the planless planlessness policy of wiping the buttt before going to toilet started, oga was quick to remove fuel subsidy without considering the consequences and here we are. Back to the topic, all this interventions and dashing people money is cool but this has to be planned and adequate modalities put in place to make sure that the target group got what is planned and the beneficiaries uses it for such desired purpose. This is called accountability which this government lacks

2.Individuals within the corridors of power are using this monies to enrich themselves. I remember a minister was sacked for this very reason. sometimes this monies are approved and released but it will take months for the funds to reach the beneficiaries simply because a certain individual is looking for interest from banks. it did not stop there, the extortion runs from the federal all the way to community field workers. its not rare to see those registering and updating data of the poor people in villages collecting 2k per person registration fee which is clearly supposed to be free as announced. Refuse to pay the registration fee and nobody will attend to you. its that bad.

3.Most of this monies are looted completely. Yes, they will not pay you and there is nothing you can do about it. the last time they paid 25k for poor and venerable households, most transactions were revesed but that is the of story.


CONCLUSION: All this intervention schemes according to my knowledge are not meant to help the poor but as a means to loot more funds and buy people conscience when the need arises.

Every society is built solidly by those who identify themselves as a group of people.
The foundation of Nigerian success is to first resolve identity crisis and inferiority, when this is done, we can proceed to identify our problems which are well known like health,educational challenges,emergency services etc and tackle it accordingly.

To add, we must be productive and try to be self-reliant to a great extent. we have a robust population that can literally build the biblical tower of babel to completion. the land mass is also massive, all is needed is a unified front and leaders with listening ears. The present crop of leaders are very far from people and not easily accessible. This has to stop. And worst is most of them are conservative and hardly adapt to our new digital community.

My answer is Nigerians must have identity and proudly identify with it.
