JAMB REGISTRAR ALLAYS FEARS OF ADMISSION SEEKERS

Admissions into Higher Institutions of Learning in the country for the 2011/2012 academic year will still be on untill November 25, 2011.

The Registrar and Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Dibu Ojerinde allays the fears of admission seekers into higher institutions of learning in the country today, when he featured on UNILORIN 89.3FM, the official Radio Station of University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Professor Ojerinde debunked newspapers reports that only 60,000 of qualified 498,000 candidates will be admitted this year. He said no fewer than 500,000 candidates will be offered admission into Monotechnics/Polytechnics, Universities & Colleges of education.

The Chief Executive of JAMB also said that there are six phases of admission exercise and that so far only the first phase has been completed and names of successful candidates posted on the internet, he said the second phase which is on-going in the University of Ilorin, Ilorin will be out on the internet next week.

Professor Ojerinde also promised that the remaining phases of admission exercise will not take too long and that by November 25, 2011 admission for the year will be closed.

attention pls o a fwend of mine just made a mistake on is form is there anyfin he can do to correct it , here is the mistake he went to choose biz admin under faculty basic medical science.instead of social science is there any changes pls.

@ yetunde follow dis instruction .All u hav to do is this;Walk into one of dis popular commercial bank,once u've entered,walk 2wards any bank official/worker u see(or help desk/customer care if they have one),then tell him/her dat u want to buy unilorin's post utme e-transact(or just put it to him/her in your own way but make sure u mention e-transact).
