Politics › Re: Tax: Build Trust, Allay Fears, Demystify North-South Dichotomy - MURIC by TooMuchStuff: 4:56pm On Dec 07, 2024
Kukutenla:
This is most disappointing.

I had thought MURIC will give a full perspective of the southern Muslims on the accusation that the tax reform bills were anti-Islam especially the part about inheritance laws.

I had expected a full rebuttal of that attempt to hamstring the bills on religious grounds and the obvious arrogance of the northern Islamic establishment in arrogating to itself the power to decide what should hold or not in Islamic jurisprudence in Nigeria.

What I'm seeing instead is a weak bending over.

A meowing and cooing in deference to the superiority of the north on Islamic matters, and an overt acceptance of Northern lordship over the political future of the president who is a southern Muslim.

Any southerner who is of Islamic religious persuasion should cringe at this sudden diminishing of the roaring voice of the acclaimed lion of southern Muslims to that of a howl of malnourished Ekuke.

MURIC is a disgrace!!
MURIC is a creation of Elrufai of Kaduna
