Good morning

I need to talk about something that plenty of Nigerians don't know,
and it's been bothering me.

My uncle visited from Owerri last December. Serious DSTV man —
been subscribing since 2008. His subscription expired on Christmas
Eve, he opened the app to renew, saw the price, and the way he
looked at that TV ehn. The man said "these people think we are
ATM machines" and went to bed. No TV on Christmas Eve.

I felt bad. Because I knew there were better options but I hadn't
told him.

So let me tell everybody here what I told him afterward:

STARTIMES
Forget the stereotype. StarTimes has seriously upgraded.
Their Nova package is ₦900/month and you get African Magic,
Nollywood channels, CNN, France 24, Cartoon Network.
Their Classic package at ₦3,100 gives you SuperSport,
premium movies, everything. Decoder costs under ₦10,000.
Works nationwide all 36 states.

TSTV AFRICA
This one is the real ginger for me. ₦200 for a full day
of 100+ channels. ₦3,000 for a full month — AND they
include 10GB of data in the same subscription.

Read that again. TV + 10GB data. ₦3,000.

Channels include ESPN Africa, beIN Sports, BBC News,
