Term 001:
Being an agent as a registered
delivering Company or as an
individual.
1 - As an individual.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Delivering agent's ID card (National
ID, Drivers License or Int Passport)
- Full Security Deposit: This simply
means that, if you want to deliver any
goods, your security deposit must be
equal or above the goods you want to
deliver.
Example: If you want to deliver a
phone worth N25000 (amount paid
by buyer is the worth) your security
deposit must be up to or greater than
N25,000 with Tradot.
Since individuals as assumed don't
insure goods on transit, we will need
to manually insure seller’s goods.
So in case item gets stolen, missing,
damaged or any instance when
Contract is marked as not successful,
a full refund will be issued to the
seller while buyer also gets back
money paid, or another agent will be
used.
The security deposit can we
withdrawn anytime, and this amount
is not calculated as total amount
earned.
An agent with a lower security deposit
cannot bid for a contract in which his/
her security deposit is lower than
You cannot request for the
withdrawal of your security deposit if
you have a pending delivery at hand

There are two types of delivery agents one can be. An individual or a company.
Now we clearly stated out terms and conditions for applying to be an agent on the link above because we are transparent. So if you simply read the terms and you are not ok with it, you can simply refrain from applying.
Now back to your question.
For individual accounts, If you want to be able to deliver goods on our platform, you must pay a security deposit on the particular item. Note: You are not required to pay before you become an agent. You pay a security deposit which is used as an insurance on our part to ensure the good you are delivering is safe. After we confirm delivery, you can simply withdraw your securty deposit from your account. Its simply logical.
For companies who have goods in transit(GIT). They will be paying half of the security deposit.

The security deposit is simply an insurance for the goods you are delivering. It is per item you chose to deliver and it can be withdrawn.

A delivery agent need not open a cash account with us. There are processes already in ground to verify and accredit every of the agents we finally choose. As for our website. We haven't launched yet. Hopefully we launch December 1st. You can then feel free to visit and judge if its good for marketing or not. Thanks once again.
