Kobojunkie: If he loves his mom's cooking then tell him to pay his mother to cook for you all. She could cook in large quantities for you to store in the fridge or something. I am sure you have your hands busy enough with your professional cooking career to worry yourself about whether your food tastes exactly like his mom's or whether he complements you or not. I am certain you get more than enough of that from your customers, right? No need to make a big deal of his refusal to like or complement your cooking. Very bad advice. You are either not married, or haven't enjoyed marital bliss. There is no compliment sweeter to a faithfully married person than that of the spouse. Even if she wins Guinness World Record for her "professional cooking," it will mean nothing without the accolades of her husband. Charity begins at home. Unfortunately, hers started from abroad |

marianakes: Greetings everyone. I am Mariana, a professional cook. I enjoy trying and cooking new dishes from various regions, such as Indian, Korean, American, and my personal favorite, Thai. I love cooking Thai Food, and my kids also love it, but my husband is different.
He absolutely hates any other food and adores his mom’s cooking. No matter how hard I try, he can never praise my cooking skills.
Does anyone else face similar problems, or am I being paranoid? Your problem ..and a very big one, is that professional you added to your title. Replace it with traditional and you will immediately see where your help will come from. |

DeZoro: I entered a mall in Toronto to.buy coke and the amount will amaze you. Two dollar and forty nine cent ($2.49).
Using the price of 50cl Coke in Canada versus Nigerian which is about Four Hundred naira (N400), I am suspecting that the ingredients are different combination. It means the Coke sold in Nigeria malls and shop are adultereted or of less ingredients.
I have attached the receipt of the Coke for verification in case you doubt.. What's the minimum wage in Canada |

CapitalBank: I complained here some days ago that I have been losing sales at a rate that I have never experienced before. Today, I found out that Godaddy is the one causing it. If you do outbound, do not use Afternic.
You will give a buyer a price and send them a link, and they will see a different price, higher than what you told them. How would they proceed when something like this happens?
BrandUche told me, but I brushed it off only to check the 5% link that I sent and saw a price higher than what I agreed with the buyer.
Now, I have to move some of these domains out of Afternic. If buyer goes on to buy the domain name at Godaddy when I use a different lander, i will make sure the price other is 30% higher. Just curious....was LTO active on that particular domain? |

HelenaWills: The thing is that, the Kazeem was never a personal mechanic. He resides in my mum's city of residence (another state) and he was introduced to me thinking it would make the delivery a lot easier. He was expected to come to lagos, inspect the car, confirm its state and if good, drive it to his state to my mum. Scrap the car and save towards another. Next time, use a personal mechanic. The short term extra expense will be a long term savings |

HelenaWills: I wanted to get my mum a small car last year. Didn't have money for a tokunbo so I asked my brothers to help me surf jiji for any affordable car. They showed me a Civic 08 and since I drive one myself, I felt it would be nice to match with my mum.
My brothers and a Kazeem went for inspection and they discovered the car had a few things to be fixed which made them slash the price from 2.4M that we initially agreed to #2,050,000. This was in June last year.
They set out to drive the car down to my house before heading to my mum's but brethrens, since June last year till this very moment as I type this. The car has only been parked from one Kazeem shop to another, on some days it was left by the road side or a petrol station for days out of frustration. I have spent above 700k on it all to no fruition. It's been almost a year now and this car hasn't made me it my house yet talk more of sending it to my mum. I contacted the guy and he said he had tried by slashing the price and that was all he could do. At some point, he stopped picking my brother's calls. Please what advice can you give me?
Can I get him arrested or take legal measures against him at least? Or has this become my headache for life? I need chunks of recommendations please. Are you still using that Kazeem? |

Richardomatic: Sir, first, it is not by force to use my service. You are not compelled to work with me. There are lots of outbounders on Nairaland. You can choose any of them for your domain.
More so, your yearn to see the domains sold from my service in public space is not as much as mine, in terms of wanting to share it in public space.
More on, I desire earnestly to share these names in public space, but I can't be that stu.pid to do that against the wish of my customers.
Funny enough, I have 3 recent customers who paid me for my services without revealing their Nairaland monikers because they've read all sort of ALLEGATIONS levelled against me, and they don't want their names to be dragged in the mud.
Now, they've confirmed my services rendered to them, yet their kept their monikers to themselves.
Another instance, two people paid for my Int. Calin• service, one yesterday, one today. Mind you, that service has nothing to do with any sharing sales proceed proposition. Meaning, I have no share in the sale proceed, as I've been duly and rightly paid for this service. Of course, these people will be reading this now.
So, tell me...who am I to reveal the sale of their domains once it gets sold?
Am I in the position of doing that?
If you imploy me to render service to you, and I reveal the sale here without your permission as the outbounder, what will you say as the owner of the domain?
Consequently, I will advise you to stop quoting me if you don't need me. I've better things to do than to be replying critics who just blindly insult and shameface people on Nairaland because other people are doing so without taking their time to fconfirm the root of the matter.
That was how someone was killed for stealing BREAD when he was hungry. As people shouted thief, thief, thief, passers-by ran after him and set him ablaze...not even knowing what he stole. My
They can kill people for stealing BREAD when they hungry, but they can't stop hailing Yahoo boys, ritualists and corrupt politicians when they come to share their stolen dough.
Of course, stealing is bad, but how on Earth will you join people in shamefacing someone when you don't know or understand what really happened?
Are you aware that what these Nairalanders are doing is a criminal offence in Nigeria called cyberbullying punishable under the law with high sum of millions as fine, I think 7M or so.
Think twice before you join people in bringing others down online.
PEACE & BLESSINGS TO ALL MY PEOPLE.
SORROW & MISERY TO ALL MY ANTANGONIZERS AS I CHANT IT EVERYDAY BEFORE I TASTE FOOD. Chanter |

Rhymesy: After defending my Bsc Geography and Natural Resources Management from the department of Geography, University of Uyo in August, 2024, I waited in Uyo hoping to see a part time job. Unfortunately, I didn't locate any good one. Things began to be tougher because my parents didn't send me money again.
I decided to move to Port Harcourt this year. On getting to Port Harcourt, I applied as a Geography Teacher in one of the prestigious schools. Fortunately, I got the job after series of interviews and started teaching.
Yesterday my account was credited and I went and withdraw half of the salary.
To God be the Glory. Package everything go give your parents .Their prayers and blessings will always see you through with finances |
