The only reason why women want men majorly is because of that mindset that someone will take up that responsibility which they themselves should cater as an adult, ability to provide. Always plan your event according to your size. There's no competition in this thing.

I understand your points but the parties involved have to agreed on not to exceed their budget. Besides some saved up for their wedding without necessary borrowing. If it's 500k you have, do your stuff and have peace of mind. Peradventure I have 20M in my account breathing, I won't spend more than 3M on my wedding. We have more important things to invest our money on.
