Your write up is far better than the biggoted OP own.

Imagine the OP saying that Arab countries will come and invest in the north? What will they gain in return? Why haven't they invested in other Muslim African countries? Even the SW will find it difficult when Nigeria is restructured. I can't wait for my region to finally have full control of its resources

Its clear YOU are the bigot here. With ignorance added on top.

Northern Nigeria has a population (mostly moslem) the dwarfs most african countries. Do you know that? Thats a population size businessmen like.

The Arab world has several companies that would love to do business in that environment, if the security problem is solved.

Jaiz Bank, Etisalat, Arab Contractors etc...

Thank you, nothing wrong with the system the people are call corrupt minded and wishing for an utopia which they don't deserve as homeboy said there is a reason why we shifted to Federalism copying the Americans,America fought their own civil war when the south wanted to secede,Abraham Lincoln and the Republocan party won the election and subsequently won the war,USA is still one till today even though California will be the 6th richest country if it were an independent state,Nigeria's Federalism is one of the best because it is copy and paste, the people who are to pilot the plane are just bad people since 1960 till date, people like Buhari that want to change they chase them away in 1985 by babaginda mr maradonna and today the evil minded citizens wishing him dead but nothing is new under the sun, even Moses was despised by the people that had been in slavery for 400 years, the same people that spoilt Nigeria are the ones shouting restructuring, not more than 8 states in the Federation send money to the Federation Account, people in states that depend on federal allocation are shouting restructuring and no one has stopped them from tapping into their resources,no one has stopped the Niger Delta states individually or collectively from building a refinery(s)or petrol chemical industries,if they built any industries when the governors are leaving power they will sell it to themselves like midwestern oil, then they will say it is the Hausa people that is the problem, maybe it is Aminu Kano that stole the money in Delta State or it is Waziri Ibrahim that stole the money in Bayelsa and Rivers State? the truth is that you can't give what you don't have, just a misguided race of the most populated black nation in the world. No matter the system, region(zoo) an animal will still be an animal. There is nothing to restructure people like the governors, senators and local government chairmen that have not rendered account to the people,we want to go and give more powers to them, the number one problem with Nigeria today is hate for Buhari,we do not want change corruption will fight back like it did in 1984.

Nigeria in her current form is becoming a failed state. Restructuring may just be what we need to move forward...

My brother that is why D West & North will hardly accept restructuring. As for D West, they will just find a way around & surely they will build their region. But the North, I have no idea.

I can bet you know very little about what the North has. In fact I am sure you have never stayed there.

There will be little or no monthly allocation so each region will have work with what they have.

They will be more accountable as D system will draw D leaders closer to D people.

There will be no tribe fighting tirelessly for power because each region will have her own leader.

That's it...

If such restructuring is done in Nigeria it may nt favour the West that much because why the population of Lagos is this much is because of the functional Port there. If this happens the Calabar, warri, and rivers port will pick up and migration to Lagos will reduce drastically, intact some people will move back to their regions.Lagos is economically viable because of its large population.
If this happens the source of revenue generation of Lagos will reduce too.
My thoughts though.

@op I like your sound reasoning. Nigeria must be restructured. this will bring competition to the states. imaging Enugu generating thousands of megawatts of electricity through coal and selling it to rivers in exchange of oil.

and Benue selling their Agricultural products to Lagos in exchange for a free access to Lagos ports

but it will definitely take time

I agree. It will take time.

In the event of restructuring, I expect our South East leaders to refuse the current map of the south east, its glaring we were cheated during the creation of regions, the whole regions is not even up to single states in other regions, our leaders must insist on adding Anioma, and cross river to the eastern region, anything aside this won't favour us.

It's important we keep discussing these details in order to clarify our expectations for restructuring. Nice one.

Look up for further clarification.

The WP is the most prepared region for Nigerias restructuring...

If all the WP Kins from the middle belt joins, WP will have 4 hydroelectric dams. They includes; Jebba Dam (540 mw), Kanji Dam (800 mw), Ikere Goerge Dam (3750 mw) and Oyan river Dam (9 mw)

Apart hydroelectric dams, the WP will generate electricity through the fossil fuel power stations which includes Egbim thermal power station (1320 mw), AES Barge (IPP) 270mw, Olorunshogo power station (336 mw), Olorunshogo 2 power station (675 mw), Omotosho power station 1 (336 mw) and Omotosho 2 power station ( 450 mw).

Meaning the WP can generate about 10,000 mw. Currently, it is generating about 3,000 mw.

Of which 1,500 mw is without gas, 1,500 mw is from the supply of gas.

Where do we get gas? WP will continue to get supply from Edo gas plant and buy from the Niger delta.

But take note that the Bonga fpso is located in Ondo state and Ondo state and Ogun State has untapped natural gas. So, will WP relies on buying gas from the SP, WP will quickly develope their natural gas and oil. grin

Wow. Correct analysis. Kudos.

5 simple steps to buy and hold cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum by yourself*.

You don't need any so called Cryptocurrency expert opinion to help you buy and hold funds in bitcoin or ethereum or any other cryptocurrency. You can do it yourself. It is very simple really.

1. Register with Luno

You may be right, but still with this present system nothing has changed in ondo/ekiti. What's more? Your cocoa in ondo has almost been neglected for oil alone, and the Niger Delta the source of the oil is left unattended to as well. We even have a bigger problem now if you think about it.
You can easily agitate in that smaller structure and hold those in lbadan responsible from Ondo than you can hold Abuja responsible.

Restructuring will make everyone more responsible in managing their assets.
