The last one was what made me suspect that my Anty had told her stuffs about me. The prophetess said there's a lady I'm going out with, and if I didn't end the relationship, it would lead to my death. Before then, my Anty had warned me to stay away from same lady simply because she had three children for a guy but they weren't married or living together. When I met the lady, she didn't look like someone who had a child, talk less of having three. It was after a month when I started visiting her and got introduced to her mum that she opened up to me. As a matter of fact, she claimed she only had one child. It was later she confessed she had three. According to her, she didn't want to lose me by telling me from the starting of our relationship. I understood with her and didn't leave her after this. When my aunt got aware through private investigation, she called me and discouraged me completely. In my mind, I knew I wasn't going to marry her so I wasn't bothered much. Some of my neighbors called me privately and lampooned me heavily for getting involved with a lady who had three kids. They said I was too good for such shit.
I believe my aunty told this prophetess everything about it. The final prophecy was that I should end the relationship and never had sex until I marry if not I would contract HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. This has put serious fear in me and for the past three years, I haven't had sex. I'm about to ignore the prophetess and get down with a some lady at this moment. Body no be firewood Biko.

I believe that before a man would want to come with his people to seek his partners hand in marriage, there would have been an earlier communication between her partner and her parents particularly on the phone. At least her family should have heard a thing or two about the man before meeting physically.
When my younger sister was about to get married, she didn't know how to start by telling our people about it. She was shy. But in the end, she summoned courage and everyone laughed at her as to why she would be shy about the whole thing. Most ladies find it easier relating to their Mums than Dads. Some dads can be too strict and overly disciplined. Mothers tend to know about their daughter's relationship before their father.
