ubev01: you are starring at a gm1 sensor and you are still arguing. Watch the video first before anything else. Shuo
I actually watched the video before I quoted that post and it was the beginning that made me recognise it... Samsung's isocell gm1 sensor is used for a lot of phones... Even the Nokia 6.1 plus (x6) has it,but everyone knows that Sony's imx sensor is superior... Why do u think the RN7 pro used Sony's imx instead of Samsung's isocell?? PS: I'm not arguing boss , I'm just saying what I found out in my research of sensors
ubev01: you are sure this is what you watched? Look at the title again, redmi note 7s (China). Why not just watch this instead of assuming it's what you watched before
Brother, the note 7s launched just this month, that video was made in February... Before the RN7/RN7 pro even launched.. Many people were mixing up the RN7 & the RN7 pro at that time... Titles aren't always correct
I watched that review on Monday.. That was the note 7 pro he reviewed not the note 7.... You'll know cuz of the Sony imx sensor, only the RN7 pro has that... The RN7 has a Samsung isocell sensor, that's what makes the RN7 pro's 48mp superior I thought u knew this now

Trex4: Sorry Bro's I'm Just Joking. I'm 100% Xiaomified. TroubleMaker, Trust Me the RN7 Isn't A Scam. The 48MP is top notch and even at that it has active developer support so Gcam would help if you aren't impressed by the default by any chance. The redmi note 6 pro was always praised online for its good camera. I think Techtablets declared a draw with the Mi 6X/ Mi A2
I honestly don't think you can find a better camera phone at that price really. Xiaomi gives you good cameras, an efficient processor and large battery to keep you balanced. That's the magic of Xiaomi. People that are using Xiaomi here were once using Tecno and Infinix products but you can tell why they ported to mi.
And to Madgoat, unless ur just trolling why not get to a Xiaomi outlet close to you and have a feel of the device? There's nothing wrong if it doesn't fit your taste. But I think majority of the smartphone users on this thread aren't Kids but really grounded in all kinds of Tech. A user here has been tweaking phones on this forum since 2006.

Peace
U deserve a medal ... I fully understand what you're saying boss and I think I'll go for the note 6 pro , since it is widely known for it's impressive stock cam, gcam should make it flagship level worthy at best
EseAbed: Hello, I want to change my phone, Redmi note 5a prime, I love everything about the phone except the rear camera, it's horrible! So I've been eyeing the Mi 8 lite for some time now but with the recent introduction of Redmi Note 7, I'm confused! I'm a camera freak and I heard the Note 7 is just being overrated camerawise besides the selfie cam on Mi 8 lite is better than that of RN7. I need your advice pls, which should I go for..? I don't care about battery and the rest, I trust XiaoMi to deliver well in those areas. I just need a good camera(Rear and Selfie).
P.S, if there's anything I can do on my Redmi Note 5A Prime to enhance the camera pls lemme know so I don't bother to sell! Else, A year Old Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime. 3gb/32gb at 25k. Negotiable A wonderful 16mp Selfie Camera with soft flash, Mediocre Rear Camera, Fast 3gb ram with Snapdragon Processor. MIUI 10. You can check the rest on Google. Everything works just fine, No faults. Call 08086182656 or WhatsApp 08068346806!
Thanks
... Na me and u oooo.... Your budget will decide, but I'm leaning towards the RN6 pro ... I thought the mi 8 lite is a slightly toned down version of the mi 8 flagship..
kenomobola: It is good, if you get the Note 6 it will be a good buy. The battery is larger than that in the Nokia X6, and you can even unlock the bootloader to install gcam and custom ROMs.
Exactlyyyyy!!!.... That's what I was telling one guy,but he made valid points tho Have u handled the x6 or note 6 pro before?
IKON360: If I told you to go for RN7 you will think I am being sentimental but its actually better than RN6pro and Nokia x6 and even Samsung a30 and a40 (if there is anything like that). If it's camera that you want, my RN7 with Gcam and without Gcam does very well. You saw how Dam5reey was strongly in support of the stock cam of RN7 and I assure he is not the only one. So if you can add 4k to your budget, you can get RN7. As for the rest, we'll God be with you
Hold on,the guy that said RN7 is better than iPhone x in lowlight photos and gcam is overrated??.... Chai,I'm never going to take his opinions seriously .... I thought the note 7 was selling for 57k on jumia
spartacus11: Lol my Max 2 was taking hard fall as in real hard fall, case will break, screen protector will break, but phone screen was intact 100%
But one small yeye fall wen nor reach anything, from a seating, phone fell less than 2feet i.e 24inches the phone screen went south.
I've used LG that fell from Upstairs to down floor, no single scratch or crack on screen, phone fell when i wanted to put on the touch light, screen broke
phone screen breaking has nothing to do with hard or soft fall, either of such fall can damage a screen
