No need to include population because a state that already get a lion share through derivation (consumption) will most likely still get a lion share through population (using the theory that the higher the population the more there should be consumption provided the state is engaging in reasonable economic activities). Otherwise, I don't see any fairness there (that is, if we care about fairness)

I said it yesterday that if the simplest thing such as this president's tax bill can't get through, nothing will ever. It's like an invisible handcuff which we can no longer blame on the north if other regions including the middlebelt can't join in to push it through. I've always said that Nigerians don't want restructuring, this goes to confirm that. All regions minus the real north had the number to pass the bill, but they don't want to do it, and there's nothing Oyedele can do. The only reform president Tinubu will be able to do is what he alone can do without the input of the lawmakers and the governors, anything that needs the help of the reps and senators won't happen, they are scared shittt. So if you want to call anyone a coward, it should be the lawmakers, the presidency has done its job of putting the bill out, but the lawmakers failed to pass it and allowed it to become a mess. Any other back and forth is no longer necessary, president Tinubu should now start a national conference, restructuring will not happen, at this juncture, no one can force anyone to remain in Nigeria. If the president is not allowed to carry out his agenda, or allowed to rule in peace, he can at least lead his own people out of Nigeria. Nothing else matters right now, we need to separate this country now.

Please divide this country, the only thing that will get done is what the president can do by himself. Anything that needs the help of the representatives will never get done. The tax bill they now agreed to is not the proposed one.

President Tinubu is exposing Nigerians for who they really are, a bunch of confused cowards who just talk but don't know what they really want. They talk about restructiing but can't stand their ground to say no to opponents at the first test of it. Bills are a game of numbers, so for such a bill why can't middlebelt, southeast and southsouth cross and join Yoruba to carry it to the finish line? Am I missing something?

What more can this president do on restructuring when the simplest part can't even make it across? So pathetic!
