At present, Nigeria has little to offer. President Tinubu should look inwards for solutions revive the economy rather than going around disturbing other countries who are focused on solving their own problems. Our farmers (crop, animal and fishery), SMEs, entrepreneurs, big industrialists, showbusiness etc should be the rebuilding blocks as it should be. Work ways of making these categories of function optimally.

revive what exactly....??

goverments gettin involved in economics is not a good idea....
better let markets settle themselves....

My brother, Nigeria uses dollars a lot. We are not producing anything, so we virtually import everything. The phone you are using to type whatever you are typing was imported by exchange of naira to the dollar. Likewise almost everything you are using in your house. This country is so useless that we even import toothpick

then it has to stop.it will do nigeria no good....

you dont earn in dollars in nigeria you wan use dollars in nigeria....??
how is that gonna work....??

you want a nigeria only for rich people....??

toothpick is a stvpid excuss....you have chewin sticks that black people have been usin for centuries....

Third class philosophy graduate plus a religious bigot is what Peter Obi is and he's not fit to lead Nigeria. Perhaps he can be elected as president of Biafra.

The solution is to divide Nigeria and let each region vote their tribal person as president.

Peter Obi would have failed woefully as president cos he'll just be a puppet answering yes daddy to every nincompoop.

ehen....that yes daddy tape is his big mistake....nigeria cant afford to have such a leader....

nigeria is the most populated black nation, the most strongest....without nigeria, black race would become a worldwide joke again....

You mean he will go to Agulu and get the reserve his ancestor kept there Abi?

When Tinubu took over, we had barely $3billion actual cash in our foreign reserve. The Buhari government sold all our current crude oil production on future contract so where exactly do you intend to build dollar reserve from in 6 months?

i wouldnt bother to argue with such people....
they believe in magic drums....

So they taught you in the school you attended that a new president should wait for 6 months before floating even when every sensible economists have called for the floating, right?

As long as there are no differences between bank rate and black market rate will this work. But once there is disparity between them even if it's #1 then people would prefer dollars in cash to change at the black market thereby defeating the whole essence.

Let's see how this goes

nigerians have always messed around with dollars since the 80s....

its nothing new....but standard of living in nigeria was not that affected back then like today....
people dont want to produce no more....they just want to run after the dollar....

you will only have a society were very few can live and the majority are extremly poor....
usin dollars in nigeria is a very bad idea....

this trend must be stopped at all means....
