senatordave1: There's nothing you know that I don't know in this edo elections.i know what is happening in both camps so when I tell you APC has won,I know why
Emetex22: They sell gala and bread on the streets, make enough and buy 1x1 shop, continues selling, starts buying in bulk, moves to distributor, eventually starts shipment, buys your fathes house, and your ancestral burial ground, renovate it, brings more folks on night bus, cycle continues, one Naijeria
You forgot to mention that you achieved all these under the nose of their Baba ijebu vendor sisters and erujeje and agbo selling mothers, just to add their "owo da" association father and skonk smoking brothers. Nonsense!
numericalguy: Tinubu's case is nothing compared to Peter Obi's case because Tinubu missed his step and fell which can happen to anyone but Obi's case is worse because Obi was walking and became dizzy, then he started falling until his aid quickly grabbed him before he hit the floor. Obi's case is a sign of a serious medical situation
Go back and watch the video all over again and see for yourself
You are upset I exposed Obi's situation. I only used that video to show to 0BIDIENST mocking Tinubu that anyone (including Peter Obi) can fall
Not because I support Obi or Tinubu. Judging by the video you posted and what happened today at the Eagle Square, in your own words, while one became dizzy, wanted falling, but was supported by his aid, the other came falling like a pack.
You have a right to your opinion my man, whatever you say is ok.
numericalguy: If what I just saw is what you mean by Peter Obi fell down, then Tinubu crashed
I don't even know why IP0B/)BIDIENTS are rejoicing over the incident. Anyone can miss his step and trip. Even Peter Obi became dizzy and fell last year during the campaigns and no one made a big deal out of it.
AmiableMosquito: I don't understand what this news article aims to achieve. These are productive revenue generating agencies of government that brings the bulk of the money that the lazy and unproductive state governors come to share in Abuja monthly and which they subsequently loot and plunder to the detriment of the citizens.
If these agencies meet and even sometimes surpass their targets, there is nothing wrong in taking a cost of collection for smooth operations. Afterall, these agencies are self-funded and do not rely on the national treasury to pay their staff. If not for these league of GOEs, a majority of other government agencies are more of liabilities than assets, with many of them not carrying out their core mandate because they are either too clueless or constrained to do so.
If we all see things this way, then the senators and the executives merit their take home. In fact, the jumbo allowances in NCC, CBN, NNPC etc is justified .
Godons1: We go disgrace Obaseki for Edo. We will make sure his stooge the PDP candidate comes a distance 5th in the next election. After APC, LP, NNPP, SDP, APGA before PDP
Your single vote is what you refer to as we? My friend relax
LegendHero: Zamfara governor no dey do pass himself at all.
Baba just stamp 30k there jejely. NLC should strike for 500 years in that state for this affront from their governor.
That’s even if this list is accurate.
It doesn't work that way bro. Cost of living is relatively low compared to Abuja where most federal workers reside. A standard 2bed flat in Abuja suburbs is going for about 1.2m to 1.5m, same apartment cannot be above 500k to 700k in Zamfara, same applies to other states. If the federal govt is paying 150k, states like Rivers, kano and Lagos should be able to pay 120k, while Imo, Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom to pay 100k, kaduna, cross river', Edo , ondo, Anambra, Enugu etc should pay 80k. All others 65k
EnglishUsa: I have said it and I will say it again, 70% of our problems are from the governors.... I am still asking myself where abia state governor is getting the money he is using
He paid 25k when others struggled to pay 18k He paid 40k when others struggled to pay 30k All these time it wasn't political Now he's paying 70k when other are unable to pay 60k
My brother at what point will you appreciate something good?
dfrost: My brother, I have started using a water filtering system in my place for almost 18 months now. No more sachet water. And guess what? I've saved close to 100k+ (I've already subtracted cost of maintaining the filtering system, washing the tank) and also saved the environment from polyethylene waste.
Says a wise man. For me, I located the FCT Water Board close to my office in maitama, I get my water free from source, fill up my dispenser bottles at home and off we go. Remember, at no cost.
FourQu: Very soon people like you will be asking if it's by force to eat garri
That over there in your house you've been eating sand and heaven hasn't fallen because you like it's taste as an alternative
Please next time learn to ONLY SPEAK FOR YOURSELF
Respect other people's opinions Sir, I'm sure that guy wasn't speaking for your village people but himself. Yes, egg is not very important because there are many more alternatives to egg than garri. Besides, I wonder how many eggs a grown man would consume as a meal.
If a farmer decides to sell a crate of egg for 10k over 105k minimum wage it's up to him. Remember, sentiment doesn't determine commodity price but demand and supply. Before our very eyes, bag of satchet water was increased to N500, they thought they had justification for their new price until demand humbled them to the current N300 per bag.
The only private sector in Nigeria currently is the banking sector which ofcourse will do the government's bidding, others are bet9ja and co who are not represented in the negotiations,
The bet9jas and Co are majority of the businesses trying to survive, no employee of theirs insist on minimum wage, they go home with whatever the organization can afford and everyone is indifferent.
The banks in coniival with the government impoverish the people, that's why they are the only sector not complaining about the current economic situation.
In this ongoing minimum wage negotiations, the private sector is represented mainly by the banks which is same as the government, hence both can easily agree on a figure
We shall stand our ground, there is no going back now, its above a N100k or nothing, otherwise tell me the moral justification for a 300% increase in judges salaries and a N29m Nigeria's senator's monthly take home
Parydelegate: This is laudable project by the kwara state government. Hopefully the vulnerable indigenes of Kwara state would benefit from this project.
