When there is ORO in Lagos everyone respects the traditional customs by not walking around at night and obeying their instructions but I'm surprised that the Muslims
had to break the customs of the land because of Islam.

Traditional worship has been there before the advent of Islam in Ekiti land

It is quite unfortunate that someone could reason this way. We were born into or adopted different religion and our individual religious preferences should be respected. I think this attack on the muslim faithfuls is barbaric and condemnable. You mentioned Oro in Lagos, does Oro come out in the day? Let me refresh your memory, it is the Yoruba custom and belief that "a responsible child does not walk in the midnight" (Eni abi re kin rin irin oru)...

Don't they hold Egun Festival in Lagos? have you heard of they attacking the muslims in the mosques or the Xtians in the churches?..since the Muslims did not disrupt or interfere in their Egun Festival, it is morally, religiously and legally unjustifiable for the Masqueraders to attack them in the worship of their God....

This is shocking, surprising and disheartening, if confirmed to be true. Bolanle Ambode being a christian should know the full meaning of "touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm" the Lord usually avenge his anointed...while i do not pray for any calamity in the land, it is advisable to the governor and his family to confess before the Lord and apologize to the victim to avoid the wrath of the Almight God.

This is just a temptation to test your steadfastness in your faith in the Almighty God. There is a place greater than this, which your Lord the Creator has created for you and your household....Rejoice for your joy has come...

It is quite unfortunate that we voted in bunch of crass that know next to nothing about governance or budgeting processes. While i agree that the budget is a mere estimate of the expected income and expenditure over a specific period of time, it is Ultra Vire for the NASS to increase (pad) the budget.

In an ideal situation, which Femi Falana (SAN) was trying to buttress is that, if in the opinion of the NASS members, the executive either over or under estimated any income or expenditure that would warrant an adjustment to the budget, this is brought to the attention of the executive to make the amendment and return same to NASS for the approval.

The Senate adjusting the budget presented by the executed, kills the tenets of separation of powers and destroys the duality concept of accountancy (u can not prepare and approve your own work). On this, i stand with Falana.
