I can see it but can't contact the phone to play sound or even locate it... he knows what he's doing cos he turned off the location

I did activate it bro... I can even see it on the website but not able to contact the phone...

Ok let me try that step out and see what it will yield... any idea where to get the books?

go to protect.blackberry.com, under "My Device", you will see "FLAG AS STOLEN" on the list of commands BUT use that command as a last resort!!!!

you will see other commands like "view location", "lock device" etc, make sure that you have full access to the device from the website by trying out those commands

if you choose to flag the device as stolen, the attached picture is what you will see and you will not be able to control the device from the website anymore

Have done all that but not lock or flag as stolen... I can't seem to locate the device but the guy is active on bbm... I wonder how he unlocked it if the OS10.3 is so secured as BlackBerry says it is... what else do u think I should do? if I catch the guy ehn no jail hin dey go and hin go buy me new BlackBerry passport.

You don't need to worry, with 10.3.2, ur BlackBerry ID and password is the only way to gain access to the device. You can go to protect.blackberry.com to flag the device as stolen

You can set a device lock on the phone and send messages to the phone.

If u don't see it active that's because the people who stole it have not used it

The guy has started using my pin to chat man... he added a accepted the request of a friend of mine... I'm still wondering how he did it cos I still see the phone on protect... should I re- lock the phone or use another means to trace him

If you didn't have 10.3.2 installed before the device was stolen, there's not a lot you can do once the 'new owner' wipes the device

With 10.3.2 OS however, you can lock down your stolen BlackBerry device if it's ever stolen

I have it installed on it... I still see the phone but I can't locate it... I have a friend who wants to trick the person or should I lock it down?i think it's of no use if I lock it cos I won't be able to get him... what do you think?

What about Z30?

Please house I have a Z30 and I just got it 2weeks, I noticed the phone is usually hot,i dont know if it's cos of network issue or the phone itself even if it's on edge but the 3G is always very hot.... I need an advice on what to do or maybe I should return it but if it's the absolute glo network then what should I do?
