Candidates take the University in Matriculation
Examinations (UME) in the following subjects:
English Language, Mathematics, Physics and
Chemistry. In addition candidates should have ‘O’
Level credits in five subjects which should

(b) 200 Level
G.C.E. ‘A’ Level or Equivalent Mathematics (Pure

Chemistry. Candidates with National Diploma
(ND) at Upper credit level in the relevant
discipline with at least one year post OND
experience are also considered.
(c) 300 Level
Candidates having at least good passes at Upper
Credit level in Higher National Diploma (HND)
in the relevant Engineering disciplines may be
considered for entry into the 300 level of the
Engineering degree programme provided they
satisfy the UME entry requirements and have at
least one year post H.N.D. experience
DURATION
