The truth is that our security agents are biased,we operate differently when it comes to south east region.Most of the check points are just for extortion and nothing more.The people saying Igbos are running away from their region are not far from the truth and it has nothing to do with the recent insecurities but the failure of government to sand line some parts of the country in national development.The federal government concentration on lagos makes it easier for business and other things and that is the reason why many people migrate to lagos not just Igbos.Lagos is the only state with functionable seaports.All visa application center are in lagos or Abuja and this is making everybody from Eastern region to move to lagos and Abuja in numbers.If onitcha,warri, lokoja,ph,calaba have functionable seaports many business will not be in lagos.If every state or zone have visa application center and functionable international airport,many will not be going to lagos just to travel abroad.The yoruba leaders are comfortable with it because it is favouring the state and the region.All oil companies have headquarters in lagos and Abuja while all their raw material are source in south south and south east region.Government created this migration of people from the east to lagos just to keep them economically down so that they will not try to break away anymore
