Without any further ado, I will go right into how you can increase your mentality by 90 percent.

According to a statement by William James of Harvard, the father of American psychology, "The average person develops only 10 percent of his latent mental ability." In other words, the average person has an unused mental potential of about 90 percent.
The lag in our unused mental capacity has been the bane of psychologists for eons. And how to access the dormant 90 percent of human mental capacity has been the fuel of a myriads of academic researches

When man fell through Adam, he lost the ability to function optimally like a god he is. "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most high" (Psalms 82:6). Man degenerated to 10 percent low mental capacity and low self-esteem. Yet the key to revitalizing and reaccessing the dormant 90 percent mental capacity is in the Bible waiting for humans to appropriate it, and make it a vital reality in their lives.
In this article we shall explore these secrets to optimal mental capability.

There are three scriptures that informed us of the availability of the reality of improving our mental capacity by 90 percent:
The first is:
Roman 8:11
11. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

That text just got through telling us that the Spirit of God shall make alive our mortal body. This is not talking about the resurrection day, no. It is talking about your body here and now.
Now let me ask you the following questions: does your brain function in tandem with your mind? Yes. Does your brain house your thinking capacity? Yes. Does your brain house your intellectual, logical, and emotional capacity? Yes. Finally, is your brain part of your mortal body? Yes. Then, the Bible, the Word of God, says: "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, that self-same Spirit will quicken, that is, make alive your intellectual, logical, and emotional capacity, which are functions of your brain and/or mind, which is part of your mortal body."
The second is:
1 Corinthians 14:4
4. He that speaketh in an unkown tongues edifieth himself...

unarguably, the purpose of self-help books and pop psychology are geared towards the improvement of man's mentality. Notwithstanding, that text just got through telling us that "He that speaks in a tongue edifies himself." The Greek word edify is the same translated to build. It is also the Latin word aedificare which means to improve
Put slightly differently, when we speak in tongues, by the Spirit, we build and improve ourselves spiritually; and this, in turn, improves our mentality: for the spiritual controls the physical.
The third is:
Jude 20
20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost

Jude says we can build up and improve ourselves in our most holy faith, praying in the spirit.
Feeding on the Word of God and praying in tongues are two avenues where Christians can fertilize their faith. The place of the word is never to be substituted for praying in tongues. And the place of praying in tongues is never to be substituted for the Word; both should be done in tandem.

Acts 20:32
32. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified

What am I getting to? We could increase our mental capacity by 90 percent by first, receiving the Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead, studying, feeding, and meditating in the word of God, and praying in tongues.

Paul the apostle, for the most part, was greatly successful above his peers because he practiced these secrets. First, he has the Spirit of God. Second, meditation in the word was his second nature. And third, he prayed and speak in tongues more than his peers.

I remember when I began practicing these secrets, my understanding became enlightened both in the things of the spirit and in the affairs of life.
