I flew into the country last week with my Black american friend and we have to travelled down to Abia from Murtala Mohammed Airport for a ceremony, reaching Umuahia(the capital). I was disappointed and ashamed!
What is wrong with Abia state? Is this a spell or what?
How can a state be lagging behind other South East states in development?
Ikpeazu of Abia and Umahi of Ebonyi was sworn in the same day YET Ebonyi under umahi is undergoing fast transformation despite the fact that Abia is richer than Ebonyi both in Allocation and IGR.
Bear it in mind, Umahi does not owe salary, he pays regurlarly.
Two years so far, Gov.Ikpeazu don't have a blueprint for Abia, he looks so confused in that seat, trying to use "MADE IN ABA" noise to cover his incompetences.
Umuahia now is like a refuse dump, go to that popular Isi-gate road(the heart of umuahia), you will see thick elephant grass growing everywhere,

Dirty and Unswept roads with foul odour everywhere.
