Haters. Must every action of Mr President and members of his household be reduced to insults. Can NL please grow up and toe the path of objectivity. If we must criticize lets do it constructively. |
We seem to be shying away from the facts as presented. What we are talking about here is the process of ascension to office. Was it through due process, were the standing orders used the appropriate one or forged one? If forged, who is instrumental for the forging ? What was the motive. For me Saraki is qualified to be Senate President but it must be through the right process. Nobody is talking about elections in the lower house Dogara won fair and square. Whoever is responsible for forgery of the standing order must be exposed and punished. Be it the Senate President, his deputy or the Clerk who is supposed to be the custodian of the house rules. |

With the reality of paucity of funds staring us in the face what does Ayade need 35 Special Advisers for? A lean performance driven government is what is in vogue. What will they be doing? We never learn. The past administration surrounded itself with a retinue of advisers and yet they failed to get us out of our economic doldrums. We must learn from past experience. Governance is tending toward E-GOVT and not surrounding yourself with a bunch of sycophants that are not bold enough to tell you the truth. Instead they oil your ego to your utter detriment and destruction. Governor Ayade be wise and do the needful. |
Why is the social media agog with cries of sectionalism in the appointments so far made? I thought we are one Nigerian - a place where ethnic bias is supposed to have evaporated from our psyche and have gone past this. We say the President's appointments is skewed towards a particular section of the country and so what? My take is that the President reserves the right to appoint whoever he feels he can work with to deliver the dividends of democracy. Take the DSS as a typical example. They threw the principle of neutrality to the dogs and allowed themselves to be used as a tool for getting back at political opponents. They derailed in the discharge of their duties and became so political. As it stands, the DSS need a total reorientation and reengineering for them to appreciate what their primary responsibility is. If it takes the President to realize this and he decides to pick some one from outside that he is sure of his antecedents and can deliver, the much we can do as citizens is to support him. Lets also look at the appointment of the Accountant General of the Federation. His appointment was based on merit. All DFAs of MDAs across the federation sat for an examination and the best man was picked. Lets look at the cup as half full than half empty and rise from our primordial sentiments. Nigeria will be good again. |
Let that female judge be. She is the only sane person in Osun state that is not under any form of hypnosis. How can a State Governor owe Civil Servant for over 7 months and he his feeling cool. It beats me hollow |
Ignorance is a disease. When did LP party become APC. Please I can't shout. The appetizer have just been served wait for the main course. I rest my case. |
It beats me hollow when when people shy away from the obvious truth . The DSS allowed themselves to be used by the Jonathan's administration thereby falling from their once enviable position. Imagine the role played by the likes of Marilyn Ogar. She threw decency and routine office neutrality to the gutters all because of what she hoped to get. The DSS issue is all about trust. The President and is team feel the DSS betrayed trust thereby making the Organization irresponsible. The only possible option now is a total overhaul of DSS in line with the performance of their primary role. I hope the President and his men will do the needful to restore confidence. |
Leave my papa alone |
My Petroleum Minister, my Petroleum Minister you need not fear anything if your hands are clean. For me I just want to be philosophical about your activities as Minister. If deep down you performed as it is unto God then the wrath of God will not come down on you and your generation yet unborn, but if you acted otherwise let me tell you today God will so smite you and your generations yet unborn with infirmities and tribulations worse than that Nigerians are currently experiencing with their families. |
