"My brother and his wife were robbed 6 days ago in their 2-bedroom apartment with a fence. An unknown intruder, familiar with the building, scaled the fence and entered through the unlocked kitchen door (locked but easy to open). They were asleep in the bedroom when the thief entered the living room and stole a laptop, an iPhone, an Android, a laptop power bank, and phone power banks. My sister-in-law heard noises and came out but was blinded by the thief's flashlight as he fled, which he must have been armed in case he was caught. They reported the crime to the police and provided the IMEI numbers of the stolen devices to the various device companies, but they did nothing. The police took a photo of the footprint and questioned neighbours but have made no progress. We're concerned about the police's lack of urgency and their potential interest in collecting unnecessary fees. Please does anyone have any advice or suggestions?"🙏🙏🙏
