The Boustany Foundation is awarding MBA Harvard Scholarship for the class commencing autumn 2019. MBA Harvard Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement.

The Harvard MBA is one of the world’s leading business programmes, taught at one of the world’s most prestigious Universities. The Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship is granted once every two years for a two-year course at Harvard Business School.

Harvard University is a private Ivy League research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, established in 1636, whose history, influence, and wealth have made it one of the world’s most prestigious universities.

Established originally by the Massachusetts legislature and soon thereafter named for John Harvard (its first benefactor), Harvard is the United States’ oldest institution of higher learning, and the Harvard Corporation (formally, the President and Fellows of Harvard College) is its first chartered corporation. Harvard is a large, highly residential research university.

The nominal cost of attendance is high, but the university’s large endowment allows it to offer generous financial aid packages. It operates several arts, cultural, and scientific museums, alongside the Harvard Library, which is the world’s largest academic and private library system, comprising 79 individual libraries with over 18 million volumes.

Harvard’s alumni include eight U.S. presidents, several foreign heads of state, 62 living billionaires, 359 Rhodes Scholars, and 242 Marshall Scholars.To date, some 130 Nobel laureates, 18 Fields Medalists, and 13 Turing Award winners have been affiliated with students, faculty, or staff.

Scholarship Description:  

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing MBA program at Harvard Business School.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in the field of Business Administration.

Location: Harvard University, USA.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have an excellent academic background and show considerable promise. Although the Scholarship can be awarded to candidates of any nation, priority will be given to candidates of Lebanese descent.
Candidates may apply for the Scholarship only after receiving an offer of admission from the Harvard MBA programme.
Nationality: Students of any nation (priority will be given to candidates of Lebanese descent) can apply for these MBA Harvard scholarships.
HBS accepts three English language tests: the Internet-based version (only) of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT); the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or the Pearson Test of English (PTE).

Scholarship Award:

The scholarship offers the following:

Financial aid amounts to US$90,000 (US$45,000 per year) towards tuition fees
Travel and accommodation expenses related to the internship.

There are two categories of Awards:
US Embassy Awards Scholarships. to undertake higher degree studies in Australia at Masters level.
And US Embassy Awards Short Courses. to undertake short-term, targeted professional training courses, in the United States and/or in Africa, in a range of development-focused sectors.

Eligibility: Varies by country (see link below for specific country eligibility criteria)

You must be at least 25 and not more than 50 years of age at the date of your application.
You must have at least three (3) years’ relevant post graduate work experience. This work experience must be in a role relevant to your proposed field of study and to your employment organization type(e.g. public sector applicants should demonstrate public sector work experience, and so on). Preference will be given to candidates with greater periods of experience.
You possess, as a minimum, a Bachelors degree (or the equivalent) from a recognized Institution of at least 4 years in length with at least a 3rd Class Pass.
Masters Degree Scholarships Apply for Scholarship

Undergraduate Scholarship Scholarship Application Public sector candidates must comply with Government of Nigeria regulations for government employees wishing to apply for scholarships.
The public sector, private sector and civil society candidates must provide evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) when they apply.
You must not already hold. or be studying for, a Masters degree.
You must be willing to make a formal commitment to return to your current employment following completion of the award.
You must meet the general minimum eligibility criteria for Australia Awards Scholarships — refer to the Australia Awards Scholarships policy handbook.

You are an early or mid-career professional working in the Public Sector, the Private Sector or a Non Government Organization (Civil Society) in one of the listed priority fields of study.
You wish to undertake a Masters degree in Australia in one of the listed priority fields of study. You cannot study a Masters of Business Administration.
You have a clear vision for how you will use the knowledge gained through the Masters degree to improve policy, practice or education in the proposed field of study.
