OAU admission is based on merit and it is transparent and fair...moreso oau has the best faculty of pharmacy in Nigeria.

come to oau, Ebonyi is part of ELDS and which cut off mark tends to be lower than others. You must be highly 'cerebral' to pass the post utme though.

The Pharm.D programme is a more clinically oriented programme when compared with B.Pharm .
The future trends in pharmacy education is that the Pharm.D programme would soon be implemented as an undergraduate programme in all universities in Nigeria where pharmacy is offered.
In the nearest future, the Pharm.D programme becomes it MAIN thing and people with B.Pharm degree may need to do a 2-3 year conversion course to Pharm.D so as to remain relevant in the Pharmaceutical World...

Moreover a graduate with Pharm.D is a Doctor of Pharmacy..and the name goes as Dr(Pharm) Enoch.......that would be nice

well it seems pharmD has more emphasis on patient oriented pharmaceutical services,clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care,hence the extra year making it 6yrs insted of 5yrs,in terms of pharmacy practice in nigeria i dont see much difference,Bpharm and pharmD have the same salaray scale,for me a pharmacist is a pharmacist wether Bpham or pharmD %%%

Pharmacy degree ia obtained after five years of intense studies at uniuyo and the degree awarded to successful candidates after these 5years is B.Pharm(Bachelor of Pharmacy)

No such thing as Bsc in Pharmacy as Pharmacy is a professional course. Every other Pharmacy school in Nigeria issues the B.Pharm certificate except probably Uniben that might still be issuing PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy)

yeah, they started long ago,, and no they don't require SAT or TOEFL but I think its give you an edge if you got the tests.

Dude, if you want to know if they offer pharmacy go to the website,, you need to do Sm research urself cus it helps alot,,,, and I mean alot cus as you go you discover new things..
