I don't know of Bsc holders but for HND u pass through NATE Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering as corporate member (d whole process cost me 118k) then u now pick up d coren form,fill n get at least 2 certified members to sign n NATE sends d form to Abuja.Coren will send pple to ur school to verify ur transcript, plus u are required to submit a project like paper n then start praying or pressing button (hold another 80-100k) if u pass u will den be a Coren certified Engineering Technologist.

Look for dia address (i bliv it is in abuja), and ask dem all dat is involved. I believe u are an engineer with years of experience ooo.

@Nwathebabe dnt beat urself too hard, u r nt the only one going thru this,i had similar issue. What am abt to tell u takes some patience, look for some1 who is into building esp some1 who never learnt it in school, tell him u r a graduate bt want him to train u on practicals,tell him u dnt have any money to pay since u hav bn unemployed, bt will be happy to work with him as a helper, He will want to knw how long u wish to stay,cos most of them want ppl dat will serve them for a long period, jst say for as long as u can stay while hunting for a civil eng job in a firm. He will understand u won't b there forever. Trust me bn a grad, u will learn alot in a short while, u will also meet a lot of ppl dat will be helpful to u in the future. As I said earlier, it takes a lot of patience, humility and discipline, cos most of this masons are nt very learned as you r nd cn be difficult in dealing with. Most importantly pray for God's leading to a nice person who would nt treat u badly. Am an Electrical Eng, nd this was how I started, walked into a site, met an electrician nd told him i will like to serve him in exchange for practical experience, nd now I have projects I manage on my own.
