Opiaknow discovered his passion for music at 13. After graduating from university with a degree in Business Administration, he went on to pursue music full-time. His talent and hard work led to a duet with Chiddy K in 2006. This led to more collaborations with Cartiair and Shampain. His debut single “Ori”, a passionate praise song in an indigenous Nigerian language, was released in 2017.
 
To him, great music is a result of hard work and doggedness. He says emphatically, “Music is Life. Live music, stay true and never give up, and your efforts will be rewarded.”
 
His debut single is titled "Ori" meaning "Head" in Yoruba and is a prayer/ inspirational song fusing the Yoruba, Igbo and English language. It was produced by Ecomix and Heze and was mixed/ mastered by Dr. Drexx at ACI Studio's Lekki Phase 1.
