There were reports earlier today that inmates of Kirikiri Medium Prisons attempted a jail break leading to the death & injury of many. But according to new reports, it may not have been a jail break.

Now this is not confirmed but according to someone who is involved in Prison Outreach and was supposed to be at prison tomorrow, he got a mail from the co-ordinator of the outreach informing them that their visit has been cancelled due to an incident at the prison this afternoon.

A 78-year-old politician, Adedayo Deru has died in Ogun State during sex with his 30 year old lover, hairdresses Ijimo Ibrahim old.

Adedayo Deru, despite the huge age difference was in a secret love affair with Ijimoh.

Unfortunately, September 30, 2014, he collapsed on her chest and died on the spot. She dumped his corpse on a roadside and according to Punch, Ijimo is now finding it hard to explain her situation to police investigators at the Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ogun State Police Command, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

Ibrahim, who was never married, has two children with two other men. Sitting on the floor with agony etched on her face, Ibrahim
narrated how her lover, who was married to another woman, died.

A military jet was on Friday involved in a near crash at the Yola Airport, Adamawa State, after the aircraft lost two tires while it was trying to take off.

According to The Punch, the jet is believed to be one of those being used for aerial bombardments of. nsurgents in the North East, including Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states.

Reportedly, the incident occurred at about 2.30pm. There was panic among airport users and workers when the engine of the aircraft,
which was already taxing, was suddenly switched off.

The Rivers State Government on Friday confirmed receipt of N200 million grant from the Federal Government to assist in the fight
against the Ebola Virus Disease.

The state recorded its first case of Ebola virus disease in August when a medical doctor, Ikye Enemuo, died after he secretly treated an ECOWAS diplomat, who had contact with the index case,
late Patrick Sawyer, in a Port Harcourt hotel.

Enemuo became the first victim of the virusin the state and the 3rd doctor to die of the disease in Nigeria.

Chief Judge of the state.
