Basic economics!

If a retailer imported goods when the exchange rate was bad, they must recover the cost of that inventory.
So even if the exchange rate stabilizes today, prices won't drop until:

Old stock is sold

New stock is imported at the new stable rate

Thanks for the input, even though as we speak , I have multiple similar cars advertised at his preferred rates of ₦4.5m - ₦4.7m.

This rant is just about the transfer of aggression due to the biting economic hardship we face presently, same hardship wey dey also affect me

If I reduced this price to ₦4m, he probably won't show up still.

VeryWickedMan:
@ValarinzAutos reduce the price of this vehicle to N4.2m now or face the consequences!

Just logged in to update it as sold and saw your rants

Please direct your anger to your appointed politicians, I'm not the cause of your inability to raise the money.

Or maybe it's easier to attack the car dealer who's within your reach while you hail, prostate and defend the people who are infact behind our failing currency and diminishing purchasing power.

That said, this one is sold, but we still have others for ₦4.5m for you if that's your budget. Infact ₦3.8m even dey sef, all na by grades. If you're ready, kindly reach out via Call/WhatsApp 07040960681

You should have stayed away from this thread....guess you couldn't resist...

You've searched and searched and found nothing 😂😂

Now you're grasping on straws, sending screenshots of things that absolutely don't relate

Search more and keep searching, same person wey wan sell phone for a price well above market price is here crying on top someone else's price which he can't afford. Instead make you quietly move on and buy where your power reach, you wan tell a fellow man how much price to sell his wares

Get me screenshots of me crying about the price anyone fixed his items na

Kewtt:
The thread was a response to the excessive pricing in the phone market section which is outrageous, mirroring the way certain entities seem to drastically inflate the value of products, much like how those your 'half-life Volvos' are priced.

The other question should be what were you hiding that made kemball, cosplay and thebigkendo after you owing to some gray details of your cars?

Here you were relieved the car was "sold" before thebigkendo came...care to enlighten us?

Years later I'm still here, waxing higher with my half life Volvos and you're here opening threads cos you can't afford to pay ₦80k for muffler

Come and get one of these quarter life Volvo's and have peace, our people no dey open threads to cry anyhow here for car parts

Kewtt:
I was in the market for a replacement backport or muffler for my Honda Civic and contacted hondajosh as he comes highly recommended by nurey a veteran here.

On getting him on WhatsApp he plainly told me the cost is 80k... I was like wow.... Fast forward to 48 hours later I was opportuned to be in Lagos and visited ladipo spare parts market myself and got same muffler for 24k!

My observation: serious dealers are not online.

You stand a serious chance of getting ripped off if you depend on the sharks online.

Visit ladipo occasionally especially when you change cars to familiarise yourself with the market for your car and the real dealers therein.

You also are guilty of same thing you opened a thread to rant about, the screenshot below is you trying to defend your equally outrageous price (according to others like you too) for a ware that others believe should sell much lower

I'll love to hear your defense now
