Following the comments of Ghanaian dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale; Nigerian artiste, Timaya has made a reaction via a video which recently surfaced online. In the video, Timaya seems to shade the Ghanaian artiste by suggesting that, Shatta Wale is not a prominent artiste;

Tekno, 24 (December 17 1992)

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer is our favourite boy, Tekno, who only flagged off his musical career in 2013 and now sits proudly with the artistes in the industry’s A-list category. At age 24, he has a variety of music hits and international endorsements worth millions of dollars.

Ycee, 24 (January 29 1993)

Ycee is arguably the industry’s new school commandant for Afro hip-hop. Often described as a gift that keeps on giving, his style of spoken-word rap, which samples a poetic influence, has endeared him to astute lovers of hip-hop. In like 2 years of active music practise, Ycee has sold records, headlined shows, bagged multiple nominations, won awards and signed endorsements deals. Occasionally, he moonlights as a rights activist for ignorant upcoming artistes.

Dremo, 24 (August 26 1993)

Dremo has been on the music grind for years – undiscovered. He shot to prominence with his hit cover of Panda, which got him signed to DMW and since then, life has changed from being a roller coaster to being a Buggati. At 24, Dremo already raps about living the big life. He has a music career to be proud of, and a future with bright lights.



Reekado Banks, 23 (December 6 1993)

Reekado’s journey to becoming the Starboy of the Mavins, happened when he got singled out by Don Jazzy from 5000 possible candidates. Launching into music mainstream in 2014, Reekado has grown his craft into an award-winning one, with a hitmaker status that puts him in the good graces of music honchos including Masterkraft, Ycee, iLLBliss, DJ Xclusive, Falz and Tiwa Savage.

Mayorkun, 23 (March 24 1994)

Mayorkun is one of the few artistes whose journey to stardom took pretty much no time at all. His debut single, Eleko shot him into instant stardom, and his musical career that spans a little over a year has recorded juicy achievements including a highly coveted award title, successful road tours as well as chart-topping singles and music videos. Already, he is being tipped as the recipient for the Next Rated category award at this year’s ceremony.

BOJ, 23 (April 22 1994)

BOJ is one of the very few Nigerian artistes with a particular and distinct voice. His songs and style of fashion has endeared him to many in record time. Despite joggling education and music, the 23-year-old singer has succeeded in staying afloat even after leaving his boy band (DRB Lasgidi) to begin a solo career.

Kiss Daniel, 23 (May 1 1994)

The much-loved Kiss Daniel brand is a product of talent mixed with good management and some divine influence. Kiss is only 23 and barely 4 years as a pro artiste; but he already carries a bag full of achievements; hit songs, awards and influential award titles. He’d be looking to stuff more in the bag as he progresses in his career.

Lil Kesh, 22 (March 14 1995)

Keshinro Ololade is a certified superstar from Bariga, Lagos who came into national consciousness the year 2013 after he released Shoki, an earth-shaking collaboration with two of Africa’s best acts in music. Kesh shelved his academic pursuit for the music dream; a move criticized by many but ultimately stamping his presence on the music scene. Right now, he is still being praised for being the industry’s youngest act to own a record label.



Korede Bello, 21 (February 29 1996)

One of the youngest kids on the block, Korede Bello is living a life that a lot of people (men) would wish for; he is doing what he loves (music), making money from it, bagging awards and has an ardent followership comprising mostly female fans who are in love with his music just as much as his good looks. Korede Bello is one of the U-25 artistes tipped to dominate the industry in the future.

Dice Ailes, 21 (March 21 1996)

Perhaps the youngest of the pac, Dice Ailes is a singer and rapper with a penchant for dictating industry trends for the new school cats, using his music and a defiant fashion sense. Dice returned to Nigeria after an academic sojourn abroad to pursue his music dream full-time. He is a nominee for multiple awards and is signed to one of Africa’s most-flourishing record label platforms

There are many reasons why a man might not last as long in bed as he would like. At some point or another, most men experience this feeling. You could be suffering from performance anxiety, stress, premature ejaculation, or erectile dysfunction (if you lose your erection during sex). The good news is that there are a variety of behavioural changes and prescription treatments which can help you last longer in bed.

Performance Anxiety
If you find yourself worrying about how long you’ll last in bed, then you could be suffering from performance anxiety – ‘nerves’, essentially. Practically every man will have experienced some form of performance anxiety. Normally it is nothing to worry about. However sometimes anxiety can develop into premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction.

Premature Ejaculation
Premature ejaculation (PE) is a very common problem, and one which affects most men at some point. Usually PE involves sex lasting less than two minutes before the man ejaculates. However, if both parties are happy and fulfilled then there is nothing to worry about. On average, men are more likely than women to define an orgasm as ‘premature’.

Primary PE is often psychological, and starts when the man first becomes sexually active. It can then remain a lifelong issue.
Secondary PE occurs later in life and can be caused by both psychological and physical factors. Stress, anxiety, depression are all possible causes.

Erectile Dysfunction
Premature ejaculation isn’t the only condition that can affect a man’s sexual duration. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is when you can’t achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sex, and this can include losing your erection during sex. ED is a common condition and, like PE, most men will experience it at some point. Sometimes ED is psychological but often it is a symptom of an underlying physical cause, such as high blood pressure. As such, it is always best to have a health check to rule out the possibility of your ED being related to a more serious underlying health condition.

Ways to last longer in bed
Whether you experience premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, or whether you just want to hold out longer than you already do, here are some tips on how to last longer in bed:

pre-intimacy: Sex is more than simply penetration. pre-intimacy can greatly increase the sexual experience in terms of both time and pleasure.
Behavioural Techniques: Try the ‘squeeze technique’ (squeeze the penis tip near climax to prevent ejaculation), and the stop-start technique (reduce simulation when nearing climax).More details can be found here.
Mental Distraction: An old classic. During sex focus on your attention on something deeply unerotic such as multiplication tables. This can reduce the enjoyment of the act itself but is often effective in delaying ejaculation.
Slow Down: Generally, the faster the man has sex, the quicker he ejaculates. Rapid, hard thrusts result in a faster climax. A slower, more measured technique means the penis tip is less stimulated and ejaculation delayed. It also allows for greater control over ejaculation.
Masturbate: Masturbation is perfectly healthy and natural. Masturbating regularly can help build up your stamina and thus enable you to last longer during sex. You can also practice behavioural techniques while masturbating so you are more comfortable using them during sex.   
Condoms: Condoms decrease sensitivity and therefore usually increase the time taken to ejaculate. They also have the added bonus of preventing sexually transmitted disease and unwanted pregnancies.  
Communication: Make sure you let your partner know what works for you and what doesn’t. An open attitude towards sex should also relax you more and lessen the nerves that cause a swift ejaculation.
   
Treatments
Men who regularly experience premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction may find treatment is the best option. There are a number of easy, effective treatments for both conditions. Prescription treatments are outlined below. Counselling is another option, highly effective for those who condition is psychological.   

Treatment for Premature Ejaculation

Priligy. A prescription tablet which delays the chemical reactions that cause ejaculation. Taken orally, it has been shown to be very effective. .
EMLA. A cream applied to the penis to desensitise nerve endings which are part of the ejaculation process. Although unlicensed as treatment for PE, EMLA is commonly prescribed and used with much success. Wash it off afterwards.
Behavioural techniques that help a man ‘unlearn’ the habit of premature ejaculation. Such techniques are most likely to produce permanent results. 
Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction
A number of prescription treatments are available for erectile dysfunction such as Viagra, as well as Cialis, Spedra, Levitra and Sildenafil. Essentially they all help you gain and maintain an erection by increasing blood flow to your penis; helping you last longer in bed.
