Folafikemi:I know who is Buhari... Yes, I am not a resident of Nigeria and haven't been there, all what I know about Naija is only from this forum...and I think it's more true info here, than in any official document...and I can say many things going in Nigeria not so good, ppl here often remember the name of Buhari, when something happened...surely in every of those situations not only his fault and somewhere maybe not his fault at all, but as you said he is GCFR of Nigeria and he is responsible for his country..so surely, I have no direct right to come to him with official visit, but if user Trapnews going to hand me over to Buhari, then I have something to say to him |
Trapnews:Wow..tell me.. I am looking answer for this question whole my life...and take me to Buhari..i have something to say to him |
Malayy:We live here enough good. but i live in Moscow, here life is a bit better than in other parts of the country.. Food is usual european )) There is view from window..
|
Folafikemi:Thank you for the explanation )) |
Domislaz:If someone from other side give a hand..i think together we can make wonder )) and find enough good materials for the bridge )) |
So sad..poor man and especially his family ![]() Don't you have there any help funds caring about families and ppl in hard life situation? We have here something like this, funds, where rich ppl and everyone who wish to help can donate money or make personal help by things, food, clother, etc. ..so here are even points where ppl without house can get food every day, thanx to these funds,..by the way which are organized by usual women and men, who aren't indifferent to the misfortunes of others.. Pardon for my French.... |
Smellymouth:That's cool!!!! But why is so big agiotage about Mark?? Hmm don't understand... ![]() |
Folafikemi:Haha... Surely i am not a spy )) at least for now Sometimes come people, who make bridges between nations.. So maybe i am just one of them. Well, but i didn't understand with 'o' and 'oo' and 'ooo' and 'manyy o', which i see often in sentences..what does it mean ![]() |
Lol...now it's time to send all these to Mark... He has to know who he is ![]() |

Naija can't be holistically bad.. I know nigerians only from this forum and walked a bit through their fb pages..of course it's just little little part of all nation, but what I see make me glad..someone works hard, someone proud of his/her family, someone is looking for own way in this life, someone worries about his love part ... and there are patriots )) So, all these are right things, they are right for every place of earth. While they are the country can't be bad... Wrong people are in every country..but i believe they are in the minority.. But surely one foolish or greedy person, especially if he is in leading part can make much troubles or even great grief.. So is everywhere (( |
Looks like new Venice.. It could be funny if not so sad ![]() And it is so every rainy season ?!?! |
To be patriotic is good..am too about my country. But I am here to get more true info about Naija, cuz all other i could find all over internet..the only problem, that i don't believe much topics are written by foreigners. The same was with Egypt years ago. Everyone arround me was against that i was going to go there alone without touristic group. And I did ..came there, lived in Cairo and walked myself everywhere..not by touristic paths. It was nice and cool to feel real life of the place..knew some good persons..and my opinion about Egypt and point of view about it is veeery different with minds of many usual tourists there.. I think they didn't see and didn't feel real Egypt... I respect every nation and understand that good people and bad are in every country, positive and negative points are in every of them.. So from native citizens prefer to get info..because they all are the soul of the country )) sorry for my super broken english |
About religion in Nigeria seems it's not so easy situation ...but why?!? Here in Moscow also are a lot of muslims and many christians, but it's enough peacefully |
I'm not going right now..but keep in plans. For now I would like to know more about the country, people....and cool language)) so I will continue on this forum to read and if my english let me then take a part in conversations )) |
I would love to know about everything there.. What is education system? And maybe you can advice any good book about real life in Nigeria by Nigerian author, any modern one..i mean literature of this century )) it maybe novel or detective or someone's minds.. |
Wow! Thank you! It becomes more interesting from a day to day )) now reading about Naija or Nigerian pidgin... Really , we even cann't imagine how much we don't know )) |
Ok, i believe Nigeria is nice )) But can you help me..i'm looking through this forum and met many times words that i cann't translate..and all dictionaries of the world give up.. Probably those are slang or common abbreviations... Well, for i'm confused from 'op' 'na' 'dey' PLEASE could you explain?!?! |
From other stories I felt like there it isn't secure for tourists in Nigeria...and maybe for local residents too.. But as I know, europeans afraid to go to Russia, because think it's unsafe to come here...although we live enough quitly: nobody fight from guns, no bears with balalaika at the streets ..I love to drive my bicycle in the evening, when it's already dark outside and no problem, so I think it's delusion that in Russia or at least in Moscow or St Petersburg is dangerous... But cann't get how is situation in Nigeria.. Because someone travel alone and is ok, but for others who work there their companies offer security..and these news about kidnapping of girls and white scinned people (( don't know what to think |
Folafikemi:State?? For now I know only cities Abuja and Lagos ...exactlier, I understand there are many cities and towns, just those two I have read them already about... there is interesting answer from embassy, that there isn't touristic visa in Nigeria (( so only for business or as visitor of someone who send them invitation for me.. But any way I am here and just would like to know more about the country and to know people better )) That's why I am here |
Folafikemi:Yeah, engish isn't native for me..and we don't study it so much as in Nigeria, i do stydy myself, but I think who wanna to keep in contact don't care too much about it...and who does not want any relation will find any other reason even if my english become excellent.. I think so.. )) |
generalbush:I am confused |
youngest85:But does it change anything in communication and relation between people? |
Have read some topics about going to Nigeria..other people experienced...seems like its enough dangerous there (( is it true?? |
I think Russia is like Nigeria..just a bit norther and here is snow in the winter ![]() |
I would love to )) even have already read rules how to get visum on site of embassy of Nigeria as visitor... Even these rules are fantastic...its more easier to get visum to the USA ))) |
Hello from Russia! I never thought about such far country as Nigeria..but once talked in internet to one Nigerian and then my curiosity led me to Wiki and other resources to know more about Nigeria.. I am impressed really... And now think how do you live there ![]() |
