I was thinking of something the white men are not so smart after all, if I was the British I would have created 2 countries because Nigeria is too big to be run by one tribe



They should have created 2 countries from southern and northern Nigeria, in fact, God already perfectly divided it, south and north, they should have created one country name it whatever, and then create another one for the middle belters and Northerners in one country and Yorubas and the rest of the southeast one country, they goofed, if they did we won't be having this issues now, think about it, even if the North is barren the white men can perform wonders, Switzerland doesn't have oil and gas like southern Nigeria, so the North would still work fine, and south in one country would have been richer than America, shame on Britain

Switzerland';s economy is an actively exporting industrial economy. Also, in Switzerland, if you don't pay your power bills, you get disconnected.

In Southern Nigeria, the biggest business is selling imported stuff, a large percentage of people also don't pay their power bills, and thus power companies cannot make a profit to improve power...meaning industries cannot grow as a result....meaning you all would be dependent on oil money.

There is a reason why Africa is broke.

Venezuela has the world's largest oil reserves with like 1/10th of Nigeria's population...that didn't guarantee greatness. With all the oil derivation with some states like bayelsa,which has the smallest population,yet are amongst the worst.

They are also top producers of oil,like the US who are large importers too. They import because they have need for it due to heavy industries and shear consumption rate cos of their numbers,if Nigeria were industrialised we will probably be importing crude too

I am not even talking about Nigeria I am talking of southern Nigeria and our oil would be enough for us even if we have thousands of industries and china's issue on their high consumption is because they are trying to change from coal to gas, almost all locations in southern Nigeria is blessed with oil, Yoruba have ondo and igbos have in imo and abia, infact it would be more than enough
