try visit ntel.com.ng/vox to download the vox app and see if you will be able to make calls with it.

thanks for the reply but i know that. my issue is why there isn't signal bars rather than a no signal icon

Possible it's masking 3G network as LTE. Hence the data working but voice which is on LTE not working

The screw at the top left corner of the phone is missing hence reducing GPS accuracy or worse making it not functional.
